Great location for hiking, great food, fantastic hostess.

We had a lovely coffee and cake here before. After reading the other reviews we were curious about lunch. We didn't get a menu and trusted our host. The primi were gone, but there were still antipasti and secondi. Fine. Unfortunately it was unclear that we got 5 antipasti (after 3 we were already full and then it kept coming) and when we paid we were surprised that we had to pay 50 euros for 3 people. We also thought it was a shame that we didn't know what we could choose from, the vegetarian didn't really have a choice and the last dishes (a kind of cabbage with cheese) were not for us tourists. A beautiful location but unfortunately the 2nd experience with il truc was a lot less.

After a ride on the motorbike, going up the only possible road with a crazy view, we arrive at the refuge hungry and after being warmly welcomed by the young staff, we sit down and meet Mrs. Samantha who immediately proves to be a warm, affable and attentive owner to her customers. We had lunch with a mix of appetizers of dream cold cuts and cheeses and with a super tasty salad of toma, celery and walnuts. We continue with polenta concia, cream of gorgonzola, stew worthy of 10 and praise and stewed sausages. All delicious and super abundant portions so much so that we had no room for dessert. Total for two people we paid 45 euros, very honest!!!! We will definitely come back to have lunch again and this time also try the desserts and to be pampered by Samantha and her kindness.

The food was great, the location is beautiful, however getting there, if not used to marrow mountain roads, it can be stressful 😂

In a beautiful position, practically a balcony overlooking the valley. Sit back and enjoy the peace of the place and the view. Simple but very good starters. Polenta concia or those with stew or sausage are good, but be careful with the one with gorgonzola cream: it's addictive.

A point of reference for a pleasant stop on the Rocciamelone side! Samantha will not disappoint you!! Top Update: try the aperisinoira!!! Fantastic! Another fantastic experience today! Top
