Rifugio Gremei In Piazzatorre

Wonderful place, super friendly staff. On my last visit I noticed that the polenta taragna was less tasty than usual but I think it was a coincidence because the cuisine is always really excellent and I can't wait to return to Rifugio Gremei

I have been frequenting Piazzatorre for many years and I congratulate the new management which has greatly improved the quality of the food and the service. Congratulations to the staff, Simona and the Rumm club. #piazzatorreornothing

La zona è bella, c'è la neve sempre perchè sparata, seggiovia bellissima. Purtroppo però il ristorante è organizzato male perchè sotto di personale, poi hanno poca roba, non si può che manca sempre tutto, birra finita, pane finito... Ed è un peccato perchè i piatti cucinati non sono neanche male.

Non capisco le diverse recensioni negative..... Personalmente ci siamo trovati molto bene in questo rifugio: location molto bella, personale cortese, servizio veloce, cibo buono (abbiamo ordinato pizzoccheri, salamella, polenta, tagliere misto). Prezzi nella media. Forse perchè siamo saliti a piedi dalla mulattiera anzichè raggiungere il posto con la comoda seggiovia.... (si sa, la montagna è sempre più apprezzata se accompagnata da una bella camminata....) P.S. : cani ben accettati e coccolati all'interno del locale (e non è da tutti considerando che il nostro è un cane di grossa taglia!). CONSIGLIATO

Nice place you can also get there by chairlift, we ate pizzoccheri, shin, and a salamella with polenta which was very small 5/7 cm and cost 15 euros 😱, high prices and little food compared to other refuges.

Large open space with tables and deckchairs belonging to the bar which I found with very friendly and helpful staff, possibility of eating or having a snack. Food with a wide choice.
