I expected more about the food. Good but neither praise nor infamy. The waiters are very nice and kind and the location....unique in the decor. The only flaw. ... the road to get there...

Our visit was an unforgettable experience, made even more special by the thrill of arriving by snowmobile through a stunning winter landscape. We started with a platter of local delicacies, featuring the finest cheeses, cured meats, and artisanal treats. The polenta with sausage was rich and comforting, while the Fassona tartare with Gorgonzola was a perfect mix of tenderness and bold flavor. A delicious dessert provided the ideal sweet ending (a delicious upsidedown apricot cake). The warm ambiance, gentle and attentive service, and outstanding food made this a truly special experience. Highly recommended!

Every time I ski in Sauze I make it a point to dine at Grange Tachier. This year was the best yet. In addition to the excellent food and hospitality which is always available, Max and Romienia have surpassed themselves with the addition of two extra dining rooms. The new expansion is modern, magnificent, tasteful yet still retains elements of the buildings former usage (farming) such that it blends in seamlessly to the original restaurant. Even with the addition of two extra rooms the restaurant still has an intimate charm for a cosy dining experience. Staff are always on hand to look after you and can offer personal advice on the day's specialties. If you feel like celebrating a bit ask for a wine recommendation from their sommelier Marco. You'll be sure to get a wine to remember. If all this sounds as though Grange Tachier is an expensive, exclusive restaurant do not fret. The prices are very reasonable especially when you consider the quality of the food, the atmosphere and the personal service.

Ho già avuto la fortuna di conoscere questa bellissima Baita in pieno stile, legno e pietra. L'ospitalità e la gentilezza è posta all'interno del locale con una naturalezza veramente apprezzabile. In più si mangia bene, ben cucinato e ben servito. Vale veramente la pena fare questa passeggiata nel bosco e sbucare davanti alla Baita in una zona davvero bella. 40minuti a piedi da Sauze. Oltre ad un buon the o un caffè per pranzare è meglio prenotare . Altrimenti ci sono le coperte per pranzare all'aperto. Cosa che prima o poi bisogna provare. Assolutamente da Provare.

Locale raggiungibile d'inverno unicamente a piedi tramite una passeggiata di circa 1,5 km a piedi dal paese di Salice d'Ulzio. Locale piccolino, tavoli vicini però devo dire bel disposti per poter stare comodi e interloquire con tranquillità. Ambiente di montagna, molto bello anche perché tutto il locale in legno e ti senti rilassato. Consiglio vivamente la prenotazione telefonica, locale che fa più turni durante la giornata ma nonostante questo, telefonare assolutamente. Personale cordiale e dinamico. I ragazzi che servivano ai tavoli gentilissimi. Il menu non ampio, ma equilibrato con i piatti della tradizione e tipici della montagna. Qualità del cibo devo dire ottimo, la selvaggina cucinata bene. Sapori equilibrati e porzioni più che giuste. Io consiglio i gnocchi viola, presi però con il ragù di selvaggina al posto del sugo ai funghi, e i gnocchi tipici con toma della zona, pomodoro e gorgonzola. Non abbiamo preso gli antipasti, ma vedendoli passare per la sala, avevano un aspetto invitante, veramente. Da non perdere il dolce, qualsiasi cosa si prenda penso che siano buoni tutti. Da bere abbiamo preso la birra artigianale fatta nella zona, la consiglio. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottima per il servizio, la qualità della materia prima e della sua rielaborazione.
