After a walk in the snow, we ate some truly delicious traditional dishes: white ganefla and tartouflette with an excellent homemade dessert. Everything was simple, authentic, and very tasty. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff friendly. We felt right at home. A truly pleasant experience, one we'll repeat this summer.

Incredible service by the wait staff and amazing sommelier. Delicious rustic mountain food, cosy wood interior, juicy wines. Prompt taxi and snow bus shuttle. Made our stay in Sauze D'Oulx highly recommend! Text the number on whatsapp to book. Order the Ganefla and veal cheek alongside DOCG wine!!!

It's one of my favorite places! The service is impeccable; everyone is smiling, polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. The food is divine, tasty, and excellent quality. I highly recommend it ❤️

Just a short walk from Sauze, an accessible walk lasting less than an hour takes you to a hamlet of mountain huts, including Tachier, where the food and ambiance are truly delightful. I chose to celebrate my birthday in January, and we reached the restaurant by moonlight on the white, compact snow. It was a wonderful experience, but there's also a snowmobile taxi service available for those who don't want to walk. Either way, it's a wonderful adventure. The recently renovated restaurant exceeds expectations, both in terms of ambiance and food. I recommend trying the ghinefle, a signature dish of Tachier for many years. Fast service, young, knowledgeable, and very friendly staff. Highly recommended, we'll be back soon.

15/03/2026: What a fantastic restaurant. Excellent home-cooked local recipes, with a friendly staff that made us feel like we were home. We loved everything, but definitely have the agnolotti. We tried several others during our stay in Turin, and Taverna’s was head and shoulders above all the rest.
