I passed through the Alta Vía 3 route and stayed one night with half-board at the refuge. The facilities are fine. Micaela, the manager, cooks excellent food and will help you in any way she can.

Magnificent place reached after an hour of quiet walk from Zoppe' di Cadore. Mother and daughter who run the Refuge are exquisite people.

We arrived at this refuge from the town of Zoppé di Cadore. A beautiful walk of, more or less, 5 km. Very quiet forest road, effortless, beautiful ups and downs. The route intersects between woods and open spaces, a small "village of cabins" and many deer footprints in the snow. Really relaxing. The refuge is small and for those who want to taste the delicious dishes of mother and daughter, it is better to book in advance. Very good, the dumplings are delicious, as is the melted cheese. But in addition to good food, friendliness and friendliness are a very welcome "side dish".

23/08/2025: Young and friendly staff, the new management has finally gained experience. I never lost faith in this place, even though the change of management initially had a lot to learn, and today I can say it was worth it. The aperitifs are top-notch, in fact, I've never stopped going. As for the sandwiches, I started again this year and they're delicious again. The Campolongo sandwiches and the cutlet are especially good. The toasted sandwiches are good, and the tramezzinis only have two flavors, but they're good. Well done! 💪🏻

21/09/2025: A charming place. Going to sleep after admiring the starry sky and finding yourself in a clean, well-furnished, and comfortable room is an experience worth repeating. The only inconvenience is the milking from 5:00 to 6:30, which isn't exactly conducive to sleep. Next time I'll definitely go to bed earlier so I can get up at 5:00 and enjoy the sunrise. Excellent breakfast with very good products. I loved their homemade ice cream with coffee.
