I discovered this place years ago, as well as being a nice environment, the food is excellent and good value for money. the only flaw could be nicer, however I gave it five stars.

The quality of the food is quite good, except for the polenta which looked more like mashed potatoes and had an indefinable flavour. The service was slow and the staff was "coldly" courteous and not very "welcoming"!

The field always says: can you recommend this place? Yes, I can do that. Ended up there because of the Strauben, not many restaurants do that anymore. I have to admit, otherwise it's not my "I have to go there" style, but I really enjoyed the stay and the food. Rustic furnishings, nice staff. Not exactly cheap food, but worth every cent. And the grapes 🤤

Absolutely a must-try restaurant. Exquisite traditional dishes served in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of a mountain refuge. Prices high but average for the place and in relation to the quality.

Everything perfect! We had fun and relaxed with a super view! We ate a shank, a polenta with cheese and mushrooms, venison ribs, cheese starter and a venison carpaccio! Everything excellent! Service: very welcoming and helpful. They also sell handcrafted things they make. Beautiful!

Institution. My grandfather took me there forty years ago, now I take my daughter there. In the meantime, the environment, hospitality and quality remain steadfast. There is little else to add, the Gentian is the Gentian. Try the pancakes.

22/08/2024: Meravigliosa piccola malga in alpe de Siusi, panorama mozzafiato, attrezzatissima per una pausa rifocillante dopo una bella camminata o per rilassarsi sul prato o sulle sdraio messe a disposizione gratuitamente per gli ospiti. Servizio rapido e gentile, personale sorridente. Noi abbiamo preso i cappelletti di farro ed erano veramente ottimi. Unico neo é presente un unico bagno per uomini e donne con conseguenti lunghe attese. Al di là di questo, posto assolutamente consigliato.
13/08/2024: Al rifugio ci si arriva tramite sentieri, immerso nella valle più incantevole tra il sassolungo e lo sciliar. Cibo ottimo...servizio veloce. Ottimo per le famiglie con bambini. Una menzione particolare per le mezze lune di ricotta ripiene di nocciola...spettacolari!!!

30/08/2024: There are only three points for the food because the Kaiserschmarrn wasn't one of those. We asked whether, for example, There is semolina in it, but unfortunately the waiter couldn't find out anything. Let's assume a large bag of powder is mixed. The service was otherwise very accommodating, friendly and polite. It's a shame that fun devices have been placed in such a way that the wonderful view of the mountains is very disturbed.
