Refuge not difficult to reach, excellent food and reasonable price, beautiful culinary experience

Very beautiful place and good, plentiful food... but we honestly waited a bit too long for the desserts, especially since they weren't elaborate. It could have been a bit of a hectic day, but that's understandable... the only flaw is that they don't provide a paper menu with the prices of the dishes (they list them verbally), but there was only the wine list. Obviously, you can ask. However, in my opinion, a written menu should be provided with the prices and the various allergens, especially because when you pay, you don't know how much your meal actually costs... I didn't like this... and then you absolutely have to have a suitable car, otherwise you have to walk up because with the road full of rocks and various potholes, you risk leaving your car there if you're not a good driver, and in any case, it's very narrow if you find a car coming from the opposite direction, making the situation a bit complicated. So, you eat very well, but plan well before going!

Exceptional location. A refuge immersed in nature, accessible via a trail from Viggiù or from the main road (the shortest route). The location is truly beautiful, with breathtaking views and a large private garden. The dishes are exquisite, all top-quality, and in generous portions. Prices are fair. The staff are always available, even preparing dishes quickly despite the restaurant being fully booked. Special thanks go to Sofia, a particularly talented and friendly woman. She was always available to meet our every need, truly professional. We will definitely be back here, I highly recommend it!

Enchanting, made magical by the love and attention to detail put into it by the ladies who run the refuge. We organized our daughter Viola's baptism there. Everything was perfect: food, drinks, and location. It's a lesser-known place, both due to little publicity and because, unfortunately, Google Maps doesn't show the correct route. A tip when booking: ask for precise directions to the ascent from Besano. Thank you so much, see you soon!!

Nice little restaurant under Monte Orsa, reachable with a nice hike (not too challenging) or even by car. Truly delicious dishes. I highly recommend it!

We celebrated my birthday, there were 6 of us, appetizers of cold cuts and cheeses, all very good, then mixed meats cooked very well, and polenta. Mountain hut-like environment, a large lawn that is good for wedding photos, large parking lot, the only problem is the very bumpy and narrow uphill road, and many large potholes unfortunately, with an off-road vehicle it is better.

Very nice location, well-kept and welcoming. Polite staff and well-prepared dishes! The location is in a quiet area, isolated and not immediately easily accessible, but it can be reached both on foot and by car.
