We celebrated my birthday, there were 6 of us, appetizers of cold cuts and cheeses, all very good, then mixed meats cooked very well, and polenta. Mountain hut-like environment, a large lawn that is good for wedding photos, large parking lot, the only problem is the very bumpy and narrow uphill road, and many large potholes unfortunately, with an off-road vehicle it is better.

The location is in a quiet area, isolated and not immediately easily accessible, but it can be reached both on foot and by car.

A truly beautiful place for those like me who love rustic places with a warm atmosphere....the only drawback is that the road to get there is a bit rough but still accessible to all vehicles

I give 4 stars only for the complicated climb that must be done to get to the top of the refuge, for the rest I have nothing to say, food made with care and excellent raw materials, kind and helpful staff, very well-kept and characteristic location... I recommend it but be prepared for the climb and have a suitable car.

Very nice place, nice and welcoming. On winter evenings there is a fireplace which creates a beautiful atmosphere.
The menu is not very rich but the products are truly quality and homemade.
Cold cuts and cheeses with pickled preserves presented on wooden cutting boards as if from a high mountain refuge!
The typical second courses of meat accompanied by polenta complete the dinner, I would even say abundant and very good.
Even the desserts are well presented and made by them.

10 of us for my dad's birthday party... we went up on foot in 30 minutes, the dirt road can also be traveled by car, the only handicap is if you come across a car coming down. We started with an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses with jam and pickled onions. Generous portions but nothing returned to the kitchen except the empty cutting boards... everything was super! Then polenta, polenta with Zola, venison, rabbit, bruscit, sausage. Water, wine, coffee and bitters offered. Even the second courses in generous doses and all delicious! Thanks to the kitchen and all the staff who were always attentive to every request! It was a splendid rainy day, thanks Gelindo!!!
