We booked at the last minute and were blown away by the beauty of this place. Very well-maintained, with dishes to share and a wide variety of choices. The octopus was butter. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive to every need. An evening we will remember.

After sunset, the moon rises.
It's a magical place. The fried fish, the white tuna cutlet, and the island cheeses as tapas were a great start. The chitarra pasta with shrimp ragù was sublime. The dessert was special! An experience we recommend to everyone.

As the name "rifugio" promises, it is located in a portion of the island high above sea level, from which you can enjoy a beautiful view and a beautiful sunset. It appears as a place attentive to style and with an atmosphere full of charm. The food is characterized by a careful selection of ingredients, fresh and of high quality, excellent macco di fave, chirashi, chitarrina all'astice! Not to mention the bacio pantesco, with a wonderful ricotta cream! Very interesting wine list, with numerous local and Sicilian offers!
Very kind and helpful service, a special applause goes to the young waitresses, very professional and polite!

Nice place, with a pleasant terrace. The food is not bad but there was practically nothing typical of Pantelleria. The concept of the restaurant seems completely wrong. Tagliatelle with wild boar and tigelle in Pantelleria?? We were shocked and perplexed.

Finally a place where we ate really well! Mixed fried fish to share, octopus stew, grilled octopus and potatoes all cooked perfectly, the fried food was not greasy, compliments to the chef. The first course was linguine with cuttlefish ink and fish ragu, super!!! Reasonable price, on par with other places on the island, where however the cuisine is far from the quality found here. It is not on the seafront but it is worth going a few km to get there, it is in a panoramic position with a splendid view. Absolutely recommended.

Seeing some negative reviews I had initially doubted, as soon as we entered we found ourselves in a very warm, welcoming and intimate location.
Although the menu may seem minimal it manages to satisfy every flavor you are looking for.
The dishes amaze with their genuine flavors and each with its own umami.
The prices are excellent for the dishes, perhaps a little expensive in the wine list.
Absolutely recommended.
