A well-kept, easily accessible, and welcoming refuge. The cuisine is traditional and good.

The food is certainly good, but I felt like I was treated differently from the others... our table of four was served with a platter missing some cured meats, which were actually on the platters next to them... and the amount of food delivered to our table was smaller than the one served to the next table of four. The prices are honestly high... as for the quality of the food and the speed of delivery, there's nothing to complain about... I'm sorry I felt treated differently... all guests should be treated equally.

I had a good time. The bar wasn't very well stocked, but that's fine for a refuge. The food was excellent and plentiful. The atmosphere was peaceful and friendly, and the bartender was very friendly and helpful, even offering suggestions for hiking trails. Recommended.

🌲 A refuge with a soul – Rifugio Fantoli, Alpe Ompio I rode my mountain bike up to Rifugio Fantoli… and from there it was an explosion of flavors and human warmth. I ate amazing polenta, served with various toppings that reflect the true mountain: melted cheeses, meat (a typical delicacy, rich and flavorful), and other rustic and perfectly executed combinations. Generous and authentic portions, without frills, but with all the flavor of tradition. A special round of applause goes to Elisabetta, who makes this place even more unique: present, genuine, with an infectious kindness and that rare ability to make you feel pampered without being intrusive. A true hostess, the kind you find increasingly rarely these days. If you want a refuge where the food is truly good, and where the atmosphere is made of mountains, heart, and sincere smiles, make a note of the Fantoli. I will definitely go back — and I recommend anyone who loves the real mountains to do the same.

Rifugio ai piedi del monte Faiè, ottimo come base di partenza o per un ristoro dopo la camminata. Noi abbiamo pranzato in terrazzo ed è stato molto piacevole. Cibo buono (tagliere, polenta e zuppa di lenticchie) servizio un po’ in affanno dato il giorno festivo ma se non si ha fretta l’attesa viene ripagata.

Il 24 aprile ci siamo trovati per pranzare al rifugio. Contattando Andrea si ha la possibilità di farsi portare al rifugio in auto, opzione veramente comoda per le persone anziane o con difficoltà motoria. Probabilmente saremo stati un po' (troppo) rumorosi rispetto agli altri ospiti e me ne scuso. Servizio veloce, cibo ottimo ed abbondante.
