Lovely place. Excellent food. Excellent service.

We were just there for coffee after a beautiful hike – which was, of course, very good. They took the time to explain everything about chestnut picking (what size, how to open and store them). That was very nice. A very relaxed and peaceful place.

A place that offers stunning views of the lakes between Piedmont and Lombardy! I recommend visiting on a clear day to fully appreciate what this hiking trail has to offer.

An excellent refuge, easily accessible even for those with limited mobility. Unfortunately, the cuisine isn't what I tried years ago. The dishes are more or less the same, but the portions are smaller and the prices are higher. Costs have likely increased, as has the bureaucracy they're subjected to.

The food is certainly good, but I felt like I was treated differently from the others... our table of four was served with a platter missing some cured meats, which were actually on the platters next to them... and the amount of food delivered to our table was smaller than the one served to the next table of four. The prices are honestly high... as for the quality of the food and the speed of delivery, there's nothing to complain about... I'm sorry I felt treated differently... all guests should be treated equally.

A beautiful place to start or finish a hike in the Valgrande Natural Park. Excellent local cuisine.

I had a good time. The bar wasn't very well stocked, but that's fine for a refuge. The food was excellent and plentiful. The atmosphere was peaceful and friendly, and the bartender was very friendly and helpful, even offering suggestions for hiking trails. Recommended.
