Ate today, delicious polenta, wild boar ragout and braised beef that melted in your mouth. The pandoro tiramisu is also worth tasting. Price absolutely adequate for the quality. Thanks for your hospitality. And a hug to Mia, Betti and Andrea.

Excellent welcome. The very kind owner. From the car park to the refuge it takes about 10 minutes. The route is simple and well shaded. We had lunch at the refuge. The quality of the products is excellent! Good prices! The comfortable and shaded outdoor seats. There is a play area for children. The refuge is an excellent starting point for various excursions. Highly recommended

Dopo una breve e facile passeggiata, circa 20 minuti adatta anche ai bambini, si arriva al Rifugio Fantoli dal quale partono tante passeggiate verso il monte Faiè. La macchina la si parcheggia sulla strada prima dell'inizio della milattiera. L'ottimo pranzo ed il personale molto gentile, ti fan venir voglia di tornarci al più presto.

Very tasty polenta with meat. The meat was cooked down until it was really tender and the sauce was very tasty. The service was nice, very helpful and had an authentic sense of humor. Our dog was also welcome. There is a lot of information about the hiking area available in the mountain hut to take with you. We enjoyed the relaxed mountain atmosphere on the terrace.

Voor de wandeling een heerlijke koffie en cake genuttigd. Na de wandeling een zalig koud biertje en wijntje gedronken. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam (ondanks dat sommige reviews anders beweren).

A beautiful refuge on the edge of Val Grande, you can eat well with rustic and traditional dishes, and very kind hosts. Perhaps the prices are a little high, but in line with the probable management costs. I recommend booking in high seasons. The refuge can be reached with an easy walk on a driveway. From there you can head towards some well-known Val Grandine destinations such as Monte Faié or Corte Bué.

The Alpe is very beautifully located. The polenta with carne is highly recommended... the climb to Monte Faie begins at the Alpe with a wonderful view of the Mergozzo and the other lakes...

11/01/2025: The food is average, nothing special, and the prices are a little high compared to the quality offered. However, the view of the lake is truly splendid and represents the real strong point of this restaurant. Ideal if you are looking for a place with a suggestive view.
