I come here at least once or twice a year following the Via Crucis path. Excellent walk of about 500m of altitude difference. You meet at the beautiful hermitage surrounded by a meadow but above all you can enjoy the sweetness of Barbara and her delicacies.

Ancient Hermitage restored with good taste. Run by a folkloric couple (Barbara and Giorgio), it offers good local cuisine and lots of friendliness. Open all year.

A great walk... Seasoned with a fantastic landscape

The route to reach the Hermitage is well signposted and can be done even by beginners. We enjoyed a walk to rediscover the scent of the forest, the sound of water and find balance. The Hermitage, lovingly preserved, awaits us at the top of Monte Froppa. The managers tell their story, we listened to them sitting around the fireplace savoring fresh hot bread, cured meats, local cheese, homemade desserts. The delicious hot sandwich, the welcoming and refreshing atmosphere. It is possible to gather in the small restored church and then leave and return to the valley. Thanks to the managers who have chosen a welcome that focuses on quality mixed with culture and the true spirit of hospitality at altitude, not "hit and run". Prices online.
