Rifugio Eimblatribm In Sauris

Stopped off here mid-hike on a Friday, was greeted pleasantly and offered food and drink, we opted for a bottle of wine! (€10). Worth noting they do not have a card machine so take cash, we had to go back to give them money but they were fine with this.

Nice little retreat (4 rooms I think...). It is located about an hour's walk from Sauris di Sotto. Easy walk... only the first bit is a little tight. You eat obviously good quality local food. Correct cost. The owners are very friendly and approachable... as if you were a friend. Thank you

Very genuine food cooked on site, ideal after a nice walk!

Rustic but very nice and intimate refuge. The food is of low quality and the prices are very high. There were 4 adults and a child, we took a platter of cold cuts, a pasta with tomato sauce, 3 bread gnocchi with melted butter, a frico (I have never eaten such a bad frico in my life), a plate of mushrooms (also inedible), two bottles of beer (0.75 ml each) and natural water for a total of €120. Receipt not received! I will definitely go walking again but this time with a packed lunch!

Truly beautiful, original and no-frills mountain refuge. The food is good, adequate portions and genuine dishes... like the managers. I also saw that they have some rooms... worth trying!

Questo rifugio per noi è ormai tappa fissa ogni volta che veniamo a Sauris, ci sentiamo accolti dai gentilissimi gestori come in famiglia. Raggiungibile con facile camminata da Sauris di sotto o da Lateis, sia in estate che in inverno con la neve (consigliati i ramponcini per il ghiaccio). Menù non troppo lungo, quello che ci si aspetta da un rifugio, quelli che si lamentano per la scelta limitata che vadano al ristorante. Piatti genuini e tutto fatto in casa, il pane, il ragù di selvaggina, la polenta, gli ottimi gnocchi di pane, le crostate, i liquori.. Prezzi adeguati.
