Characteristic mountain refuge, easy to access, beautiful views, typical cuisine of a true mountain refuge with local and fresh products, very familiar service, fair prices. We will be back.

We had lunch in this refuge which can be reached shortly after a simple path that starts from Sauris di Sotto. Excellent minestrone with garden vegetables and good frico. Radicchio in oil is delicious as an appetizer. The service was pleasant and very fast

Raggiungibile anche in auto, altrimenti 1 ora di camminata da Lateis o da Sauris. Oggi le tavole erano piene e a servire solo Signora e figlio. Se non avete premura potete,anzi dovete fermarvi. Birra locale 'Zare' o internazionale. Poca scelta come piatti ma buoni ed abbondanti. Posto e vista meravigliosa.

Il panorama merita, anche l'ospitalità se vogliamo ma la qualità lascia a desiderare, soprattutto se messa in rapporto al prezzo pagato. Tagliatelle al ragù di selvaggina che manco si vedeva, spezzatino che navigava nell'olio e mi è rimasto il sospetto che non fosse neanche di manzo...E poi, il cuoco che si lamenta delle comande che arrivano in cucina, avendo già finito certe pietanze a mezzogiorno! Bah... Poca attenzione davvero. I rifugi che abbiamo conosciuto finora erano tutti molto meglio.

Nice and simple retreat! We went twice for lunch, the first time starting from Sauris di Sopra, the second time starting from Lateis: both times we ate very well! The owner is really nice and approachable, all accompanied by good food! If you are in Sauris, I really recommend stopping by here!!

Beautiful refuge that can be reached with a route suitable for families starting from Sauris It enjoys a beautiful view, furthermore the two owners are delightful people, very kind to share information and have a chat The speck platter is delicious Highly recommended for a break if you pass by

08/12/2024: Good pizzeria in the center of Udine. Place in the center where you can spend a pleasant evening. Very good and refined pizza. Visually and above all in the tasting phase. Very friendly staff and above all with a spontaneous smile. Compliments. Do I recommend it? Obviously yes.
24/11/2024: We went last night (Saturday 23 November) for dinner with our family (4 adults and 2 children) after a not very long wait (not having booked) we had our table, what can I say, very good pizza and a lot of attention from the staff, we from good Neapolitans we didn't miss laughing with all the staff. At the end we were also offered some digestives by the manager (very good meloncello). Just a pleasant evening. Thanks everyone, see you next time.

Al Scus

01/12/2024: We had the pleasure of having lunch at the Al Scus restaurant, and the experience was truly extraordinary. The atmosphere is welcoming, an ideal environment to enjoy a moment of authentic culinary pleasure. We accompanied our lunch with the house wine, which proved to be an excellent choice: of excellent quality, perfectly paired with the dishes. The real highlight was the fresh fish, expertly cooked and presented with great care. Compliments to the staff for the attention to detail and passion that is perceived in every aspect of the service. We will definitely be back!
20/10/2024: A discovery! Typical Friulian location, suggestive, well-kept and welcoming. Simple menu (mainly fish but also meat) but complete, very good dishes. Impeccable service. Honesty and correctness also in the bill, average and absolutely without surprises. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back. Advised!
