A recommendation from another hotelier because everything was full. Wonderful, but you need an enduro or 4x4 to get up there; it's gravel, and steep in places. So it's a mountain hut; don't expect any comfort.

The refuge is easily accessible from Sauris and Lateis by car or on foot. It has a panoramic terrace.

Stayed 2 nights with friends. The refuge is in an excellent location between Sauris di Sotto and Lateis. It can also be reached by car. Completely made of wooden planks, the hostess is an excellent cook; not a huge selection, but excellent dishes. You can eat any time, from 11:30 am to 9 pm. I didn't give it a 5 because, for the price per person per night they charge, I was hoping for at least towels and sheets... a shared bathroom in a refuge is acceptable. Overall, hospitality: 10

We arrived at this refuge with another family we met on the trail. The atmosphere is very peaceful and the food is good. The place is child-friendly and offers a wonderful view. I highly recommend it.
