Rifugio Del Lago Della Vecchia In Torino

Beautiful refuge with spectacular views and a stone's throw from the suggestive Lago Della Vecchia. The manager was very helpful and prepared an excellent vegan lunch for us, the quality of the products was excellent and the price was really honest, congratulations! A visit is highly recommended!

Starting from Piedicavallo you can reach the refuge in three hours, hospitality and good food and the legend of Lago della Vecchia... the lake is 10 minutes from the refuge. And you are almost at 2000 meters!

It can be reached with a walk of about two hours with a fair difference in altitude. Lu-"Ciano" and the staff are super welcoming and helpful.

I can't comment on the night service because I didn't stay overnight. As for the place it is very nice. Reachable after a walk of about two and a half hours of medium difficulty. 5 minutes away is the old lady's lake which is obligatory to visit and for those who can even go for a swim. the lake is of glacial origin and is located at 1800 meters above sea level. At the refuge we ate a rich appetizer of local cold cuts and a good tanning polenta.

Una bella passeggiata per raggiungere il rifugio e il lago a 5 minuti dove nasce il torrente Cervo. Prima parte nel bosco poi la vegetazione diminuisce. Sempre carino
