Beautiful refuge with spectacular views and a stone's throw from the suggestive Lago Della Vecchia. The manager was very helpful and prepared us an excellent vegan lunch, excellent quality of products and really honest price, congratulations! Highly recommended a visit!

Starting from Piedicavallo you can reach the refuge in three hours, welcome and good food and legend of Lago della Vecchia... the lake is 10 minutes from the refuge. And you are almost at 2000 meters!

It can be reached with a walk of about two hours with a fair difference in altitude. Lu-"Ciano" and the staff are super welcoming and helpful.

for the night service I can't give opinions because I didn't stay overnight. As for the place it is very beautiful. Reachable after a walk of about two and a half hours of medium difficulty. 5 minutes away is the old lake which is a must to visit and for those who can even take a bath. the lake is of glacial origin and is located at 1800 meters above sea level. At the refuge we ate a rich appetizer of local cold cuts and a good polenta concia.

Excellent refuge, well maintained, with excellent dishes. A few steps from Lago della Vecchia, enchanting place. Applause to the manager Luciano "Ciano" and his staff.

Una bella passeggiata per raggiungere il rifugio e il lago a 5 minuti dove nasce il torrente Cervo. Prima parte nel bosco poi la vegetazione diminuisce. Sempre carino

25/03/2025: Great place to spend an evening where you eat well, sing with your friends and have fun. Really everything perfect, nothing to add.
16/03/2025: ...it's not the classic all you can eat.... Ok but with the choice of the complete menu more individual dishes should have been served and less to share since one pays for a complete menu not to be eaten in sharing... the most sore point of the restaurant is the menu of prosecco and wines a normal Valdobbiadene extradry.... you can't charge €50 the restaurant is not in Venice Piazza San Marco or in Paris under the Eiffel Tower... I asked a dear friend of mine who is an international sommelier from Treviso and she said that these two prices are unacceptable for an arneis at €30 and a Valdobbiadene at €50.....

03/04/2025: We didn't know the place, it was a very pleasant experience, kind and pleasant staff, in particular Marcel who followed us for two, recommending typical local dishes which turned out to be excellent. All in an informal but very refined environment. Truly recommended.
