This view, this good food, this friendliness. Once again, the schnitzel, cabbage, and Kaiserschmarrn were exceptionally good, and the service was warm! We'd be happy to come back and see you next year!

@Gundula Brink I can't quite confirm the impression you described. During our visit, we found the Klausner Hütte to be a friendly and cozy place with a good vibe and genuine conviviality. For me, it was a very pleasant experience – with good music, a warm atmosphere, and a lively mood that's rare. Of course, humor can be perceived differently – the important thing is that all guests feel comfortable. Perhaps this was simply a misunderstanding or an unfortunate moment.

A welcoming refuge with a spectacular view: we enjoyed a rich and flavorful platter, an excellent salad with sauerkraut and speck, tripe soup, and a truly delicious grappa. The staff were delightful, highly recommended!

Very friendly staff, delicious regional food. A beautiful hike from the Kühhof, also suitable for children. Simple, good accommodations. The sunset with a view of the Dolomites is indescribable. Be sure to bring a thin sleeping bag.

Bad Siess

08/02/2026: Our time in Bad Siess was a wonderful family stay. The guesthouse has a truly special location with incredible views of the mountains and the valley below. Even in winter, the place is easily accessible and a real insider tip for a short break. We were incredibly well looked after by the lovely people at the guesthouse and felt completely at ease. Our little daughter was treated with such warmth and welcomed without reservation. The entire property was spotless and equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast left nothing to be desired, and the quality of the food in the evening was exceptional! We haven't eaten such delicious food in a long time! It all sounds perfect, and for us, it truly was. A fantastic short break all around! Highly recommended!
03/02/2026: Hotel surrounded by nature. Simple but very nice room with a terrace and a wonderful view, bathroom a bit small. The owners, however, win you over with their passion and love for what they do. Superb dinners and breakfasts!!
