Rifugio Chaligne In Gignod

I was there for lunch after a brief trekking, the food was tasty and service kind and attentive. Cute location with great view and original furniture.

Excellent food and view, prices in line with refuges of this type. The only flaw is that they are perhaps a little too rigid in their management, especially with their employees...

A nice refuge with adjoining stable selling fontina, great view of the Valpelline, nice lawn around with rustic tables also outside, really good lunch meal and excellent chaligne cake, for the children a pond with trout and above all the alpacas to see in the fence behind, the climb a little tiring but just over an hour.

Fantastic place to recharge during a walk.

Very quiet refuge, outside there are wooden tables scattered here and there for eating in peace, and not crowded together, with the woods behind them. Excellent lunch, the cake deserves at least an encore 😭 to say the least! Around the refuge there is a small but beautiful pond and an enclosure with alpacas. The walk to reach it is quiet and can be done without too much effort with ebikes I hope to come back soon!
