Exquisite lunch at very honest prices in a wonderful setting: outside the refuge a snow-covered and very silent panorama; inside, a warm and welcoming environment. Excellent pizzoccheri and risotto, delicious polenta and mushrooms, soft and fresh cakes. Lots of options for vegetarians, food certainly also suitable for children, despite not having a specific "children's menu" (I think the managers will understand what I mean). Walk from the Bobbio plains to the refuge, short and suitable for everyone. We had lunch at the refuge: pizzoccheri, polenta with stew, mushrooms and chestnuts. Soft tart with chocolate and raspberry jam and pear, chocolate and chestnut cake. All very good. Young and friendly staff. Good quality and price ratio. View over Valsassina. Even if the weather wasn't nice, the walk and lunch at the refuge are also ideal for these winter days. Highly recommended

11/17/2024 . A nice refuge with a beautiful view on a clear, calm day. I arrived at the refuge starting from the Barzio cable car square through the woods. The refuge is kept in perfect order, the food is excellent, the staff are friendly and the price is cheap. On this November date with a warming sun I managed to eat outside enjoying the food and the view. Super experience

The refuge, despite its not particularly high altitude, has a wonderful view of the peaks of Valsassina and Lecco. from the Bergamo side It can be reached in just over an hour from Ceresola (Valtorta) by walking up (path 104B) a stretch of track and then a beech forest up to the Gandazzo pass. It's fantastic to get there by mountain bike from the CAI 101 path, first going up to the Piani di Bobbio from the easy road (MC difficulty - short steep descent from the pass which you will then have to go up again pushing 10'). As always, excellent dishes and low prices for a true refuge. Due to its small size we always recommend booking any lunch in advance. When it is crowded a moderate waiting time must be taken into account.

I stopped in this refuge after following the 101 route from Piani di Bobbio... we stopped to rest and have a drink and I must say that I found myself in a youthful, clean and friendly environment... the excellent cuisine and the excellent service. . very good!!!

A wonderful view, excellent food with the cable car from Barzio to the Bobbio plains, then take path 110 and arrive in an hour's walk

From Valtorta it was a beautiful walk, with very beautiful views. Lunch in the refuge with typical dishes of the area are well cooked and plentiful, the desserts are varied and tasty. The service is carried out by very kind staff who are up to their task despite the crowding

Excellent refuge with helpful and very kind staff. As for the food they could improve but certainly excellent with the prices.
