Spectacular refuge, in my opinion the best in the Como pre-Alps, divine chopping boards and polenta uncia (my friends also had polenta and venison and pizzoccheri, with excellent reviews) and really good homemade cake, what can I say, despite the high-calorie dishes and demanding I digested everything immediately, a sign of the quality and freshness of the products used, a very intimate and warm environment, suitable for conviviality, kind staff attentive to our every need, what can I say, me and my friends we will be back very soon!
Ps: non-negligible and very important detail, very honest prices (polenta uncia at €8 and cake at €5)❤️

I could define it as a paradise for tired hikers, because once you enter you are part of that warm world of the mountains with a typical environment, simple and delicious local dishes, quantities to satisfy even the most tired, prices absolutely in line with the general offer

A young staff with a great desire to do distinguishes the management of the Bugone. Thank you for letting us spend a wonderful Christmas Eve staying with you just as we wanted: staying in the peace of nature while also enjoying your delicious dishes! A note of merit for the venison and polenta morsels, among the best eaten. Highly recommended for both the excellent food and the hospitality!

Historic refuge, a few steps from the summit of Bisbino.
The managers are to be commended, very attentive and friendly.
To start, we ate a platter of cold cuts and followed by a delicious plate of polenta and braised meat and some gnocchi.
Exceptional desserts.

Food was more than perfect! Wild boar with fried potatoes was super tender. Gnocchi with sage butter also perfect. We would never have expected that in a rifugio! And very inexpensive too. It doesn't get any better! 2 nice young people who put in a lot of effort! A must for anyone passing by! Highly recommended!

Beautiful mid-August holiday with a nice table of 20 friends and everyone satisfied!
We found hospitality and professionalism in two young managers
Excellent first courses, braised meat and ribs.
We concluded with desserts which were delicious and fresh!
