Rifugio Bristot In Belluno

I went there a week ago, so the refuge is closed, but the show remains spectacular

I passed through this refuge on the way back from the ridge path. The place is truly panoramic and worth a stop. I couldn't stop to taste the cuisine because otherwise I would be very late, however if you start from the car park of the la casera restaurant, it takes you like 3.5 km and 230 meters of altitude difference along the forest road.

Positive experience Excellent service!!! A truly very kind, thoughtful and extraordinarily sweet waiter. The only flaw in my opinion is the cold room, i.e. poorly heated, otherwise welcoming, full of decorations and well-kept. Food tasted amazing. The pasta alla zingara was exceptional, the pastin with the refuge dish was delicious. Everything very tasty including the bread!! Well done

Arrived from Col Toront, a slightly challenging climb, nice refuge, wonderful view. Quiet place to relax. I can't give an opinion on the rooms, having not stayed overnight, otherwise everything was excellent.

Breathtaking view of Val Belluna, renovated and welcoming environment inside, well looked after. You can eat both inside and outside.

We got caught in a thunderstorm and we were trying to find a tree for shelter in case of hail when we noticed this place. We just wanted to stand under the overhang for protection, but it was open and the nice staff told us to come in out of the rain. A wonderful waitress who spoke English asked us if we wanted something and made clear that we were not obligated to buy anything if we just wanted to wait out the storm. We ordered a hot chocolate with cream, a coffee and a piece of cake. The hot chocolate was very thick like chocolate pudding which I love. Everything was delicious 😋. The interior was cozy and everyone was in good spirits even with the storm outside.

The food was splendid, the service was excellent, everyone was friendly and smiling. I also recommend the barley coffee which is excellent as well as the dish of the day.

Iniziamo con l'accoglienza; in molti rifugi (o definiti tali) ormai vieni accolto freddamente (considerato quasi come un un numero da banco degli affettati...) qui anche solo per un caffè vieni ricevuto con il sorriso e allora ti viene voglia di ritornare, cosa che io e mia sorella abbiamo fatto per pranzo in un sabato di luglio. Siamo stati ampiamente ripagati: piatti genuini e ottimi, gentilezza, cordialità e prezzi più che onesti hanno fatto sì che quando torneremo sul Nevegal il rifugio Bristot sarà uno dei nostri preferiti...magari anche solo per un caffè! Bravi! Continuate così!!!
