Rifugio Bristot In Belluno

As with all mountain huts, you appreciate the fresh air, the silence, the view, and the natural surroundings. The delicious sandwiches and friendly staff certainly don't hurt.

Great location and beautiful view

September 7, 2025: We stopped to enjoy the view and took the opportunity to eat and drink something, and we found the staff very kind. Alas, we didn't spend a little for what we ate; a packed lunch always wins...

A refuge on the Nevegàl Alps, easily reached on foot with a lovely hike. Excellent cuisine and excellent service from the owners, who are extremely kind and helpful. On clear days, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the valley below and the Dolomites. Despite its proximity, as the crow flies, to Belluno and other villages, you won't hear any cars or other artificial sounds, making it a place of peace and tranquility.

An unmissable destination among the Nevegal peaks!

After an excursion we stopped for something to eat, it was now after 2:00 pm and they kindly provided us with something to eat, I would say that in addition to being hospitable and kind, the food was to our liking, if you pass by these parts I recommend it, then you can decide... Anyway, thanks, it was all good.

A simple and well-stocked refuge above Nevegal. An almost obligatory stop (there are others located along the various routes), after a nice walk in the surrounding area, it offers a spectacular view of the Belluno valley and Lake Santa Croce.

One of the best huts on the Munich-Venice Dream Trail hike. A warm welcome, good service, and excellent food (portions are unfortunately quite small). The rooms are small and newly renovated. A very pleasant atmosphere.

We stopped for lunch during a hike. Beautiful setting, beautiful views, very friendly staff, and excellent food. Worth considering when in the area.

The refuge can be reached by an easy forest road as well as various other trails, all easy but more challenging in length and elevation gain. What sets it apart from other easily accessible places is the welcome and friendliness, the quality of the offerings, and the atmosphere itself, which makes you feel like you're in a true mountain refuge.
