A refuge that allows you to enjoy excellent typical dishes with a magnificent view. A very well looked after environment with a very well done mountain style. The dumplings are excellent and feel like they are homemade, the pappardelle with mushrooms, the goulash and the cutlet with chips. Polite staff and fast service!!

Nice, easy hike from Misurina, through woods, food was excellent, I loved my tagliatelle con ragu. You have quite a variety of first dishes, main dishes, and desserts. Worth the hike.

Nice experience, very comfortable chairlift that allows you to reach the refuge in a short time. The refuge has an incredible view and the staff is very kind!

This mountain hut is located right next to the chairlift's top station, making it extremely easy to access. The view is breathtaking, ranging from Tofane to Monte Cristallo and further towards South Tyrol. The dishes are good but nothing special. Prices are reasonable by Cortina standards, but a bit on the high side compared to other areas.

Al rifugio ci si arriva a piedi da Misurina oppure con il servizio jeep visto che la strada per salire al Monte Piana è chiusa all'autovetture ed alle biciclette. Noi abbiamo scelto la salita con la jeep e poi la discesa a piedi. Il rifugio è a gestione famigliare. Tutti sono molto cortesi e disponibili. Cibo buono e servizio veloce. Per una salsiccia con la polenta, un goulasch con polenta, 4 birre medie, un dolce con caffè abbiamo speso €58. Dopo il pranzo è possibile anche visitare il piccolo museo della prima guerra mondiale compreso nel prezzo.

Excellent refuge with wonderful views of Lake Misurina, very convenient location immediately after the chairlift. Very nice and well-kept refuge with large windows to admire the splendid panorama.

10/09/2024: Excellent location for accessing various via ferratas on the Schiara and surrounding areas. Reachable in about 3 hours on foot from the Case Bortot car park. Standard equipment for a mountain refuge (dorms for 6-9 people, with bunk beds). Possibility of cold (free) or hot (for a fee) shower. Excellent service.
03/09/2024: The young woman working there is absolutely the best thing about the hut. Super friendly and genuine, she likes to chat to customers. Even gave us THE BEST gelato recommendation for when we got back to Belluno.

Ristorante Da Aurelio Rifugio

31/12/2024: The restaurant is very elegant and refined, in perfect style of the place in which it is located. The staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the level does not seem to live up to the restaurant's claims and its prices. We consumed the tasting menu which simply consisted of an appetizer, a first course, a second course and a dessert from those on the à la carte menu. We didn't like at all that one of the two starters (soft egg) was served with a broken yolk (see photo)! Both were also served too cold. The first course (lamb tortelli with mountain pesto) was really excellent! As well as dessert. What most caused the restaurant to lose its level was the long wait for the second course (deer with Giau hay): we were only served when the other tables who had ordered it had also been served the deer. I understand the needs of the kitchen but I find it unacceptable to wait so long between courses in a restaurant with these demands. Top location.
25/12/2024: One of the best dinners! Well-kept and cuddly environment, breathtaking location. Attentive, smiling and precise staff immediately puts you at ease. Each course left its mark, simple but at the same time refined. All ingredients were of the highest quality. The dessert, creme caramel with soft meringues and frozen raspberry, is one of the best desserts I have ever eaten. Super recommended ♥️
