Rifugio Barma In Fontainemore

Wonderful discovery, the beautiful refuge in a nature reserve we spent one night and we will definitely return for the welcome and kindness of the staff, both the cuisine and the cleanliness were excellent, see you again soon☺️☺️

Tijdens het lopen van de Sentieri del Lys hebben we hier een overnachting gehad. Heel nieuw moderne berghut. Gastvrij en fijne sfeer. Fijne kamer, goede bedden en prima badkamer. De hangmat met mooi uitzicht was heerlijk om te relaxen. Het eten was goed, alleen de vegetarische gerechten mogen nog wel iets uitgebreider.

Lovely place, well looked after, good food. We recommend practicing the route on a dirt road from coumarial because the one indicated on the refuge website is particularly challenging. Beautiful experience

Wonderful recently built refuge in the Mont Mars reserve, splendid welcome and excellent cuisine, well above the average for high mountain refuges. Remarkable wine list with some gems not to be missed. All in an enchanting place and with comforts that don't go amiss (free wifi of excellent quality).

I've stayed at quite a few rifugi and this one is without a doubt the BEST! Everything about this place is just outstanding: gorgeous location, amazing construction of the building, fabulous track to get there, welcoming & lovely staff, comfortable beds, well set out rooms and the food was just delicious 😋. Also we were fortunate to arrive to a band playing, the musicians had hiked up the hill with all their gear! It was a very special experience. This will be a hard act to follow, they have set the bar very high. I will definitely be back next year.

OH MY GOD,what a place they have here, the location is amazing, the rooms are so well laid out and beautiful. The food is soooo good (we have been to alot of refugio and this is a step up from them all) .the layout of the eating areas is really well done and there is lots of separate areas to chill out ,sit in the hammock seats looking out at the marvelous view with a spritz in hand( I may have done this ) .The walk up to the refugio is a great track (not a wide easy track) there alot of up and downs and some sections you need to hold onto ropes and big rocky steps ( we parked at Courmial and walked up from there .one of my favorite tracks to date. Such a great find. Will be back one day that's for sure .

We stayed in this wonderful retreat for one night and everything was great. The staff were super nice and friendly, always available. Last, but not least, the food was fabulous. Not to mention the landscapes around, a dream! Everything was perfect! Thank you!
