An important refuge, modern yet welcoming and familiar. The owners, Angelo and Fabio, keep alive the traditions of solidarity, help, and availability that have always characterized mountain people. They demonstrated this to me in practice, thanks also to an extensive network of contacts that goes unnoticed but is there when needed. Thank you.

We went to the Curò refuge after witnessing the spectacular opening of the Serio waterfalls. From the waterfalls you follow the stony path to the refuge, two hours of walking, and you arrive at 1915 m above sea level. The lunch of typical dishes and polenta repays the effort made to get there. I know that you can also sleep but I have no information about it.

Location of this refuge: CRAZY! A place where I would gladly return, in summer it is better to book to have the position outside with the view. On my ig profile travel.fiore I describe in detail the route of this trek

I was here today for lunch! Easy to reach from Valbondione. 2h50 of trekking on a mule track… Excellent food, I really enjoyed the first courses, among which 2 traditional dishes stand out SCARPINOC and FOIADE… We then ended in style with 2 slices of tart

Excellent refuge to stop after a long walk. I had lunch with polenta and mushrooms very good. The guys who ran it very efficient and the view on the Berbellino lake is a spectacle.

Nice location, the catering management is not exactly at the top, it is run by willing volunteers and therefore ok anyway, but the walk is worth it!

Nice refuge, great service and friendly staff. Abundant dinner and reasonable price. I recommend bringing your own sleeping bag to avoid paying 3 euros for a disposable paper sleeping bag... useful only in an emergency but generating useless garbage. Strategic location for various excursions.
