Rifugio alla cascata In Vezza d'oglio

Surrounded by greenery, just a stone's throw from the frozen waterfalls (in winter, of course), we were greeted by Simona and her smiling and friendly staff. The quality of the dishes was excellent (abundant and flavorful) at a great price. Their fig and Nebiolo ice cream is a MUST-try; a feast for the taste buds. Special mention goes to Simona, who patiently accommodated us (there were 32 of us). Special guest Noa, Simona's nephew, entertained us at the end of the meal by dancing "The Crocodile, How Does It?" surrounded by our daughters.

The atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant, the staff helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, since we didn't have a reservation, they went out of their way to accommodate us. The food and desserts were good, and the portions were sufficient to leave feeling energized for another trek.

A beautiful place where you feel welcomed, satisfied, and fulfilled!!! They welcome you with a warm smile that stays with you throughout the entire experience. Everything was excellent: the service, the quality and quantity of the food (what HUGE pieces of cheese!), and the bill. Plus, it's located in a very interesting location for excursions of various levels. Well done!

Stunning area, with the spectacular Cascada

Inaspettata scoperta. dopo una breve risalita all’inizio della Val Paghera il rifugio si staglia su una curva con comodi parcheggio. Beh, mangiato tagliatelle al ragù di lepre che erano anni che non gustavo così buoni, idem quelle con i funghi e l’antipasto con carne salada e tortei di patate (tipo rosti) e anche lardo di patanegra da leccarsi baffi, dita e piatto. Un vino in bottiglia che stanno sperimentando per far diventare il loro di punta, 11€…roba in contrasto con i prezzi ormai folli di Ponte di Legno. In due abbiamo speso 70€. Da ripetere in tutte le stagioni. Gestione famigliare super accogliente, quasi romagnola.

We stopped by for an aperitif and the owners are really friendly, the pirlo was delicious with excellent appetizers. Reasonable price, even below average. Highly recommended
