Restaurant nestled in the valleys. Simple but welcoming location. Excellent quality/price ratio. Suggestive landscape where you can enjoy nature and typical local cuisine.

Good location and tranquility in the external environments, the internal spaces are a little confusing. The polenta and the meat are good, soft but not raw. The pizzoccheri were passable, too "drowned" in the cheese which, as it hardened, made the whole thing an unpleasant single block. Average desserts and informal service

We arrived at Monte Avaro for an afternoon walk. Looking for a place to have dinner we went to the refuge, initially we were told that in the evening the covers were only for hotel guests, but then with extreme kindness the Lady told us that she was making an exception and preparing for us too ( there were 7 of us) dinner. The food was excellent, the price was right for what we ate, but what amazed us most was the kindness, friendliness and friendliness of the service, unfortunately very rare things nowadays. A huge congratulations to all the staff, we will definitely be back.

I decided to spend a night at the refuge and then leave for various excursions the next day. I took the opportunity to have dinner directly there. The place is gorgeous, easily reachable by car. The hospitality is wonderful, the staff is really very nice and friendly and ready to satisfy every need. The food is also excellent.

We didn't stay in the hotel but had dinner in their restaurant. Perhaps the prices are a little high for a refuge but I have to leave a positive review for the quality of the food and the friendly helpfulness of the managers.
