I went yesterday with a group of friends and I would like to give 💯 stars! Truly particular and original location! Never seen a place like this 🔝. Simple and delicious food. Atmosphere a mix between refined and familiar. And then... the icing on the cake... the welcome from Danilo and Daniela. I will definitely come back, in fact my friends and I are already thinking about when 😁 thank you!

Enter as a customer, leave as a friend. Phrase that very much reflects Danilo and his partner's tavern (I think). Located in the heart of historic Genzano. But the highlight is the food, fresh homemade products, quality that makes you want to finish the dishes. In my opinion, having visited various places, these are the places where serious, empathetic owners with fair prices make people want to go out to eat. I give 5 well deserved stars.

Excellent experience, it was a real surprise, immersed in the ancient village of Genzano, hidden among alleys and village houses, we entered this small family-run tavern. We sit outside and here the dancing begins. Menu at €25 for delicious starters, a first course of your choice, we opted for homemade fettuccine with Chianina and paccheri carbonara, we continue with meatballs with sauce and pecorino and grilled braciolona, ​​pan-fried chicory and baked potatoes. All delicious with exceptional raw materials.. All for €50. Super recommended. I forgot..... Drinks are included

Beautiful place to spend your evening eating delicious food. From a very warm service all throughout to very tasty dishes this restaurant it's worth visiting if you are in Genzano di Roma. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the food, because I was so busy enjoying it. We tried delicious antipasti, the homemade fettuccine was amazing, and the meat was very tasty as well. The portions were great! Exceptional ambience, too!!

In this family-run hosteria the food is good but you have to ask for the menu to see the prices and don't trust: can I bring a starter with various little things? Cutting board with two slices of coppa, two of mortadella, two of grilled mortadella, two of salami, two slices of a ham roll (small ones), 3 tablespoons of green beans and two pieces of polenta (cold): €24. Very normal product quality. Among other things, after the explanation of the dishes I didn't even order it but I went straight to the first courses (let's say a misunderstanding...) Another question from the owner: red or white of the house? €10 for a 750ml bottle I think, mediocre wine at 1.50/litre... Abundant and good first courses €12 each (carbonara and white ragù) plus cover charge and water €62 for two. €2 discount. A little too much. It would always be better to bring the menu with the prices while correctly illustrating the dishes so as not to make the customer feel bad after they have eaten.
