Dinner at Ricky's with Gigi and friends
For those who have never been to Ricky hostaria in Lignano, the suggestion is to stop at least for a white wine and a crouton. The wine by the glass comes from the Gall cellar, Collio. Bread from a bakery in Concordia that Ricky picks up every day. What he puts on it is selected material of the highest quality. Mery, his wife, always welcomes you with the cordiality of a family member. High quality restaurant. The two sons bring the experience gained over the years by Alajmo, three Michelin stars, into the kitchen. Applause to Daniela for her kindness and professionalism. Regarding Ricky, as director, "beneficial curmudgeon".

A sublime experience both on a culinary and moral level
The dishes are made very well, where elegance, flavour, taste and care are found both in how they are presented and how they are treated
Here there is "a lot of stuff" both in the kitchen (they could aim for the first star culinaryly speaking) and in the dining room (very polite, kind and above all aware and knowledgeable of everything they serve)
You can sense an extended family behind all this and as a real family you manage to convey love in the dishes

Essendo un’osteria, si mangia su tavolo senza tovaglia, le posate si prendono da una scatola di legno ed anche il
Pane è servito in una simpatica cassettina in legno. Peccato che poi si cerchi di servire cibo da ristorante stellato senza averne la capacità. Buona la tagliata ma i contorni erano davvero tristi (fagiolini e piselli tagliati in minuscoli pezzetti e serviti in una specie di bordino che nemmeno in una casa di riposo, le fettine di patate forse al forno ma con sopra un ciuffetto di insulsa specie di maionese) e il pesce (la proposte era pmbrina pescata) era in realtà un filettino striminzito che sembrava quelli surgelati. Peccato. Forse meglio fare cose semplici e farle bene!

Posto fantastico, cucina sublime.
Ho scelto il menù degustazione con 5 piatti a mia scelta tra quelli proposti nel menù, tutti super elaborati, ben presenti e gusti perfettamente equilibrati. Ogni singolo elemento che componeva il piatto era bilanciato e cotto alla perfezione. Ci tornerò sicuramente
