Discovered at some acquaintances' wedding, I fell in love with it so much that I chose it for my own wedding in August 2019. We felt pampered, the guests still remember the beauty of the room, the kindness and helpfulness of the waiters, the quality and quantity of food, and all the attention they've never encountered in other venues. I would get married there 1,000 times over. Some venues in the area try to imitate it, but there's no comparison. ❤️

I'm really happy, my first time there was today, October 18, 2025, for Rocco and Annalisa's wedding, which was awful. I recommend it especially for weddings, it's truly beautiful, and the staff is truly exceptional and excellent. Congratulations.

The Garden staff, with their courtesy, kindness, and helpfulness in abundance, makes all the difference in the world!!!! Like the owner Giuseppe, this is truly a unique team. The quality of the food, the abundance, the attention to detail evident in every setting, and the well-maintained spaces complement the menu perfectly. This is a truly wonderful place to be.

We got married in this magnificent reception hall, and the experience was simply unforgettable, exceeding our every expectation. From the very first moment, we were welcomed and looked after by an exceptional staff: the staff is fantastic, extremely professional, and of a rare kindness and helpfulness. They managed every detail with discretion and precision, making us feel pampered throughout the day. We truly lacked for nothing. The venue is stunning, with an elegant and refined atmosphere that provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding. The food was fantastic! All our guests raved about the quality and presentation of the dishes. The raw fish buffet deserves special praise, as it was incredibly fresh and incredibly delicious. We recommend this venue to anyone who wants a dream wedding, where every element, from the venue to the service, to the cuisine, is top-notch. The Garden Room is located on Via della Tecnica, just minutes from the Sassi di Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We stayed at this spacious venue for a recent wedding. Upon arrival at this enchanting location for a special day, we were greeted with professionalism and courtesy by the reception staff. The enchanting, clean and meticulously maintained venue was, in our opinion, the perfect setting for the newlyweds' dream wedding. We would like to thank all the staff for their professionalism, friendliness, and helpfulness, which helped make this day so wonderful. A special thanks goes to the waiters, whose engaging and lively personality won us over as they performed their duties, always paying attention to every detail. Highly recommended for anyone who desires the best.

The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, and the place immediately conveys a sense of comfort that invites you to sit back and relax after a stroll through the Sassi. We tried the classic Spritz, wine, and sparkling wines, which were all delicious, well-prepared, and the menu offered enough variety to satisfy a wide range of tastes. The snacks and appetizers are also varied and well-presented, with clear and detailed descriptions directly on the menu, ensuring complete transparency regarding what you're ordering. The sore point, however, is the prices of these accompaniments: despite everything being clearly labeled, the price-to-quantity ratio seems excessive in my opinion, with portions that leave a bitter taste in the mouth when the bill arrives. Overall, it was a positive experience for the location, atmosphere, and quality of the drinks, but the price of the appetizers weighed down the final rating and made the quality/quantity ratio less convincing. However, there are several aspects that are worth mentioning, especially for those looking for a pleasant aperitivo in a central area of ​​Matera.
28/10/2025: A little treat for the mouth: shortbread cookies with delicious cream, focaccia with tomato pesto and two sauces, it was absolutely delicious. The service was very pleasant, the music and atmosphere were great, you'll want to sit here 👌

13/01/2026: Cozy atmosphere. Delicious food - every bite was a delight, especially the truffle tagliatelle. You can see how the chef prepares the dishes - admiration for the cleanliness in the kitchen. And the wonderful sweet girl from Morocco made our evening even more pleasant with a smile, perfect service and friendly attitude.
12/01/2026: Here, we came for the pasta. It was epic. Situated just near some of the main plaza and attractions is Kapunto. This is a modern restaurant I would say. I really liked the decor and all the cutlery and plate design. Very clean and great staff. There was a buzzing little atmosphere and the locals were chatting hard with staff which was great to see. I loved watching this. I found that the pasta course with some bread and a bottle of wine was a great meal - one would need to be hungry to manage two courses though I would say. The pasta here was just incredible and freshly made. You can see from the images how good this was made. The mushroom and tomatoe sauces we had were bith rich and flavourful. The wine was also a good choice. This is somewhere I would come back to if local and suggest travellers come and visit. Thank you for a great lunch.
