A restaurant on a fairly busy street under the arcades of Ancona. The well-maintained exterior invites you in, but the interior is a little less so. I visited this place for dinner with colleagues. We were greeted kindly. The menu was varied, but we opted for a tasting menu: mixed appetizers and a main course consisting of rice, chicken,
curry, and mixed vegetables.
The appetizers seemed frozen and packaged, but the rice and meat dish was a pleasant surprise. It was delicious! Not a miracle, but good!
The local beer was good!
The price, 30 euros, was a bit surprising, but it was fine!
I probably wouldn't eat dessert again...

My girlfriend and I always go there when we don't know what to do for dinner and it's not Tuesday... I hate Tuesdays. We always love the food. The lentils are incredible, the samosas never disappoint. If you go, also get their traditional wraps to go with the rice. It's cheap, but we eat a lot. I've never been to Sri Lanka, but it seems like a typical restaurant.

I recently visited Rice and Curry in Ancona and was truly thrilled. The staff is incredibly friendly, always smiling, and happy to recommend the best dishes. Another plus is the incredibly low prices, especially considering the quality and freshness of the dishes. I also really appreciated the virtually non-existent wait times: the service is quick yet attentive.
Among the dishes I tried, the coconut rice deserves a special mention: creamy, fragrant, and perfectly balanced, with a delicate flavor that pairs perfectly with the spicier dishes. It's truly a delight, worth the visit alone.
I absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat well, spend little, and feel welcomed at home. A place worth visiting!
