Trust Federica!
The flavors of home and of the past, I always recommend trusting Federica the owner and chef because she knows how to direct you on the dishes of the day making you discover or remember exceptional flavors. We recently ate a homemade ravioli with caciocavallo and exceptional capocollo, while the one in the photo was a "simple" pasta dish with red meat sauce that opened up memories of Sundays at grandma's house!

Very nice and welcoming restaurant.
Dishes cooked with great skill and love.
The owner is very good at advising the customer and introducing you to ancient flavors but revisited in a modern way.
Welcoming and intimate environment.
Reservations for the number of tables are welcome.
Highly recommended.

What can we say about this video jewel of this little temple of good food, Federica's fantastic welcome and wonderful friendliness?
Very little, because after you eat at Retrobottega, you can hardly do anything else other than look at the sky enraptured by the good flavor and quantity of fantastic food.
I can't even find a dish that I liked more than another, I even managed to eat some things that I never, ever in my life thought I would want to try and yet not only did I taste it, even though it still didn't fit my tastes I can't help but admit that it was good.
Thanks to Federica and her fantastic staff for bringing this corner of Salento to Treviglio!

Excellent experience. The food, from appetizer to dessert, is exquisite; the raw materials are chosen with care. Special mention to the grilled octopus, so soft that it could have been cut with a breadstick. The staff, including the owner (and cook!) were very friendly. Nice environment, music at an adequate volume that allows social exchanges. Advised!

Cio’ che fa la differenza per un locale sono il buon cibo ( qua ottimo ) e la proprietaria ( fede fantastica!! )

A cozy, warm and familiar environment. A sincere cuisine, full of character but kind like the cook and owner.
Broad bean mousse that deserved the slipper, tonnarelli with swordfish sauce for an encore and the soft and delicate frangipane cake.
A certainty at the table in Treviglio.

Essendo Salentino, posso dire che raramente mi capita di ritrovare i sapori di casa lontano dalla mia terra, ma in questo ristorante pugliese mi sono sentito esattamente come a casa. La proprietaria, che è anche la chef, è stata di una gentilezza unica, accogliendomi con un sorriso e una cura che fanno la differenza. I piatti sono stati eccellenti, preparati con ingredienti autentici e un’attenzione ai dettagli che ha pienamente soddisfatto le mie aspettative. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca un angolo di Puglia e autenticità

Being from Salento, I can say that I rarely find the flavors of home away from my land, but in this Apulian restaurant I felt exactly at home. The owner, who is also the chef, was uniquely kind, welcoming me with a smile and care that made the difference. The dishes were excellent, prepared with authentic ingredients and attention to detail that fully met my expectations. Highly recommended for those looking for a corner of Puglia and authenticity

My wife kept telling me that we had to try this place, and for seven years we had been looking for an excuse and an ideal moment, a few weeks ago we finally succeeded, discovering the delicacies of Retrobottega. Sure of the quality, courtesy and goodness that can undoubtedly be found in this place, I decided that it was the ideal place for a lunch with my sister, her husband and their daughter... Excellent result from every point of view, I highly recommend to lovers of good Salento food, even in a vegetarian version their dishes are no less than exquisite. The staff is affable like few others and you certainly feel at home but with a refined and exquisite touch.
