Restaurant Zur Kaiserkron In Bolzano

The food was very good! The service was very attentive! Unfortunately, a glass of Sauvignon Blanc was €15! That's a rip-off, especially when the bottle costs €17 in the store! What a shame 😭

When I come to Bolzano I happily return to this restaurant, it always reserves pleasant surprises, the care and attention for the customer is always high

Magic was made in the kitchen with the food and served with passion and kindness. I’m not really a lunch fan but this was just outstanding.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but I'd be remiss to not mention how disappointed we were with the quality and taste of the food. Some of the dishes looked visually appealing, however, nothing looked as fantastic as what is posted online, and the flavor (with the exception of maybe the veal cheek) was consistently lackluster. I expected more from what some people have previously said was "the best restaurant" in Bolzano. Food also came out exceptionally slow at more than 30 minutes per course, which was especially jarring since the night before we had incredibly paced, quality food. Perhaps it was a mistake ordering a la carte instead of the degustation menu, however if a dish is not up to the same quality it should not even be offered. Atmosphere was a typical Michelin adjacent affair, rather formal with the majority of the tables filled with couples. Service was good and attentive, albeit I found the showmanship with the white gloved servers and cloche reveals ill matched with the mediocre food. Given the abundance of excellent restaurants in Bolzano, I do not see any reason to visit this restaurant especially at this price point. Unless of course you like looking at your food more than eating it.

I went for the first time with my family on the occasion of my daughters' graduation and since then this place has remained in my heart. Our third time a few days ago once again proved to be a confirmation of the goodness of every single dish we chose. The artichoke is excellent and we recommend trying it. A riot of flavours, textures and flavours. For dessert we opted for a true work of art, the banana. Coming back is always a real pleasure and this time the two guys present in the room gave an extra touch to the evening. Very friendly and pleasant to do their job. Will we return? Certainly and maybe who knows if we will find the first star they deserve. Lara

More than a dinner it was an experience and a journey of tastes and refinement. Really attentive and kind staff, above my expectations.

Highly recommended experience. Absolute respect for raw materials. Extreme valorisation of the underlying ingredients and exaltation of the same in the skilful combination of flavours. I looked for a flaw from the appetizer to the dessert, I couldn't find any. I'm just waiting for the chance to go back again. Thanks! ;)

A very pleasant experience and above expectations for this restaurant in the center of Bolzano. Simple, minimalist and very elegant place. Creative dishes that do not forget taste and flavour, served impeccably, you rarely find a person like Matteo, who at just 25 years old is capable of guiding and surprising you. The restaurant is already ready to receive its first star. We chose the smaller tasting menu, starting at just over 100 euros, an excellent experience at an absolutely reasonable price. Must try.

Relaxing atmosphere; attentive, prepared, kind staff. Simple dishes, but well executed and cared for. Tasty. Some sauce too weak or too covering, on the contrary. But overall a very pleasant memory. Thanks for the welcome.
