We entered with one of the sauna packages, good price and excellent welcome at the reception. Very nice and new wellness area, infrared sauna, Turkish bath, Finnish sauna, whirlpool and heated indoor pool. Entrance fee includes slippers, bathrobe and towel. Very nice Finnish sauna ritual. I would happily return.

For 10 years, South Tyrol has become our great love as a magical travel destination with wonderful, friendly and approachable people in a sometimes breathtaking but also gentle and almost lively landscape. On a recommendation, we stayed at the Parkhotel “Zum Engel” for the first time in 2014. That's what it was called back then under the excellent leadership of the former owner Fini Schafer. Since then, we haven't even thought about changing hotels on our trips - both in autumn and during the ski season. The Volgger family has been running the house for just over 2 years now. And it feels just as good as before: Professional, friendly and always attentive staff ensure your physical well-being. Which isn't that difficult, as the kitchen offers a wide range, usually with 5 courses in the evening and a sumptuous breakfast buffet in the morning. The rooms and suites are bright, friendly, spacious, tastefully furnished and always clean thanks to a group of hard-working service “angels”. Should there be any special requests, Günter Volgger is available to speak to the guests almost every evening and, together with the reception staff, tries to leave no wishes unfulfilled. A very nice and quiet hotel for both a shorter and a longer stay. The staff at both reception and in the kitchen are very professional, attentive and friendly. In our opinion, this hotel shines in almost all categories, from location to service and cuisine. Everything is kept to a very high standard and the food and drinks in the restaurant are really tasty. We were pampered there on two evenings. Overall it was one of the best, if not the best hotel we stayed at. An absolute recommendation from us. In addition, price-performance is really unbeatable.

I have just returned after staying a week in this which is more than a hotel... it is a wonderful treat from all points of view. The location is very convenient, close to the motorway exit, about 1km walk from the center of Vipiteno with a pedestrian street and is an excellent starting point for visiting the main tourist attractions in the area or for a ride on the nearby cycle path. The hotel is very well looked after, the rooms are spotless, the staff is very kind and available for every need or request for information always with a smile, they also organize pleasant excursions for guests. The relaxation area (indoor swimming pool and SPA) is a true jewel of harmony and tranquility. The restaurant is of high quality for the gastronomic offer, the presentation of the dishes but above all for the dining room staff. Special thanks to Sigrid who spoiled us with her kindness throughout our stay. Super recommended if you want to spend a relaxing holiday!!!
