Very nice restaurant, with delicious food and very friendly service!

This traditional inn is a highlight for me every time! The quality of the food is excellent – ​​down-to-earth, regional and prepared with a lot of love. I am particularly impressed by the unbeatable price-performance ratio: here you can get real South Tyrolean cuisine at the highest level at fair prices. The selection of regional specialties is varied and authentic. Whether Schlutzkrapfen, bacon dumplings or homemade desserts – you can taste home here. What rounds the whole thing off perfectly is the familiar, incredibly warm service. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. The team is attentive, friendly and always in a good mood. I always enjoy coming here - a place where enjoyment, hospitality and tradition are truly lived!

Urig-gemütliches Wirtshaus mit großartiger Küche. Da wir unseren Hund mitgenommen hatten, nahmen wir in der Schankstube Platz. Fand es schön, den Einheimischen beim Dorftratsch zuzuhören. Hinten im Lokal gibt es wunderschöne Stuben (habe kurz reingeschaut). Das Essen war sehr fein....Haubenniveau (würd ich sagen)! Kürbisravioli, Polentabällchen mit Radicchio, sogar der gemischte Salat hatte mit Granatapfel und Knollenziest einen besonderen Pfiff! Gratulation! Ihr habt das super gemacht!

Siamo tornati in questa locanda storica sudtirolese e abbiamo trovato la stessa passione e professionalità che contraddistingue locali come questo. Piatti fatti in casa con materia prima di alta qualità provenienti da agricoltori del luogo. Abbiamo iniziato con un manzo lesso tiepido marinato con cipolle buonissimo, Tortelli farciti con asparagi del maso Rauhenbichl di Terlano con spuma di salsa bolzanina, deliziosi per proseguire con Guance di manzo patate, verdure e cipolle caramellate, superlativo e asparagi con prosciutto cotto, patate, delizioso. Infine Tortino caldo ai semi di papavero con semifreddo al miele di Gudon e Mousse allo yogurt con sorbetto alle fragole, deliziosissimi. Complimenti per gentilezza e qualità

Always great to return to Turmwirt with family and friends. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food, refined interpretations of regional dishes, is delicious and the service very friendly and professional. The beautiful "Stube" provides the right setting for a cosy dinner.

Absolutely top! I was alone on the way to Italy and wanted to try a typical, somewhat rustic restaurant without having to drive too far from the motorway. Called quickly, parked at the village museum (please read the parking instructions, the access to your own space is really narrow). Doesn't matter, it's 100m on foot. Nice, typical ambience with wooden panels and a view of the castle wall. Extremely friendly owner and service. There is even a lunch menu during the week. House bread, salad as a starter, veal schnitzel. The regular menu changes often and offers a thoughtful, non-confusing selection of local dishes. Wines from South Tyrol, even the water tastes good. I hope I can visit again soon with my wife and dog.

SMALL but fine menu with many regional products. FRESHLY and deliciously prepared, great selection of wines. Recommended aperitivo to start👍
