Restaurant Schlernhex In Castelrotto

Discovered by chance, and we were welcomed even though we were a large group and we showed up close to the kitchen closing time. Despite this we ate very well and discovered typical dishes, we will be back!

We were here for the first time. Very nice service, delicious food.

Simply great food! Can simply be recommended. The service was very friendly and helpful and we also got a very tasty goulash soup on the house!!! Where can you get that these days? We personally really liked the rustic atmosphere! Kind regards from Carinthia

Questo ristorante è un po' fuori dal centro di Castelrotto, ma merita una visita perché la cucina è buona e con prodotti di qualità. Ci abbiamo mangiato due volte in questa settimana bianca, e devo dire che ho digerito tutto e bene..gulash, verdure canederli, insalatone, ecc. Buonissimo anche lo strudel a fine pasto.. Fateci un giro, anche il prezzo è buono per la qualità dei piatti..

The Schlern-Hex is a must if you are in South Tyrol, beautiful old inn and invites you to linger, eat very well, service was great, we felt very comfortable 🙏I can warmly recommend it ☺️but you have to make a reservation as it is always very fully booked

Super nice evening that we spent outside the restaurant on the terrace! Beautiful view of the mountains and beautiful atmosphere! The food was delicious!! I definitely recommend if you are in the area!!

Cozy restaurant, you can sit outside as well as inside. The hosts are very attentive and extremely friendly. As a customer you feel very well looked after. We ate here several times, my favorite was the goulash. This is good home cooking, well seasoned and plentiful. For dessert you shouldn't forget the ice cream (we had nut ice cream, chocolate-strawberry-vanilla). The restaurant is definitely worth recommending.

Im August/September 2024 waren wir wieder für eine Woche in Kastelruth und haben uns mindestens 4 x von "Paula" verwöhnen lassen. Der Tagesteller hat uns immer besonders gut gefallen! Wir gratulieren ganz herzlich zum "neuen Koch" ❤️ Herzlichen Glückwunsch an die ausgesprochen nette Bedienung 💕 Wir können unseren nächsten Aufenthalt in Kastelruth, Ende August 2025, kaum noch abwarten 😊 So ein tolles Restaurant wie die Schlernhex mit leckeren Südtiroler Speisen, fairen Preisen und fleißgem Personal wünschen wir uns in Deutschland/NRW 😊 Vielen Dank für den sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt 💐
