Restaurant Schlernhex In Castelrotto

We had lunch at our go-to restaurant and, as always, my favorite schnitzel was a must, and it was perfect. The fries, however, were a bit worse than we remembered. The only downside is the prices, which are quite high, but the quality of the main dishes remains the reason we always come back.

We really enjoyed our visit to Ristorante Caffè Schlern-Hex! All the à la carte dishes were homemade, and you could really taste the quality. Service was friendly and quick, and the homemade cakes were excellent. The view over the valley is stunning, and there’s a lovely shaded green area perfect for relaxing. The only small downside was that the kids’ menu pasta wasn’t on the same level as the other dishes — there’s room for improvement there. Overall, a great experience.

I found it by chance and it was a very pleasant surprise. Its menu features unique and original dishes that revisit traditional local dishes. Kudos to you for your dedication and originality.

Ever since I was little and came to Castelrotto, my family and I have been going to the Schlern-Hexe and Paula, who are very friendly and serve excellent local cuisine. The staff is also simply fantastic. I highly recommend it.

Lekker! Absolutely delicious meal, home made. Lovely welcoming family run restaurant. Sweet cheese dumplings with nougat chocolate were a wonderful ending!!

Would wish I can give many many more stars if I could. Our car broke down and lady boss was so nice and offered us help. We then ate here for dinner, amazing food, amazing service! Feels so homely and lady boss is just so sweet and friendly. Highly highly recommended!
