Restaurant Pizzeria “Al Passetto” In Cortina d'ampezzo

Pizzeria Al Passetto in Cortina was a real surprise. I ate one of the best gluten-free pizzas of my life, if not the best ever. It's not your average factory-made gluten-free dough, the classic rubbery, bland "flying saucer": this is real pizza, with a light, fragrant, and well-cooked dough, practically indistinguishable from traditional pizza. Quality ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. Finally, a place where celiacs can eat without compromise. If you're in Cortina, a must-visit. Congratulations!

As a first time visitor to Cortina, this dinner choice checked all boxes. Greeting, ambiance, service and food all excellent. Atmosphere was so friendly, never felt like a visitor. Will definitely return on next trip!

We came here for pizza, and the food itself was very good nicely made pizza with great flavor and good wine to go with it. The restaurant is nicely situated, and the interior has a cozy, relaxed vibe. Unfortunately, the service really brought down the experience. We felt mistreated by the staff not sure if it was because we were wearing hiking clothes (which is strange, considering it’s a hiking region), but the attitude toward us was unpleasant and made us feel unwelcome. It’s a shame, because the food was great, but I wouldn’t go back given how we were treated.

Extremely friendly, excellent food and service, and a casual, refined atmosphere. The collection of real Olympic torches and Olympic memorabilia is a real treat! Highly recommended.
