Dinner in a historic place in Milan. Elegant place but not too formal. I started with the agretti, very good but the risotto alla milanese was really excellent, creamy and with a nice strong flavor. A round of applause goes especially to Franco and Yvonne of the staff: kind, friendly and super attentive, they made the difference.

Really enjoyable dinner. I chose the traditional ossobuco: absolutely delicious, just as it should be. I'm not a great wine lover, but I let myself be advised on the pairing and I must say it was a nice surprise, a good choice. Compliments to the girl who welcomed us with a smile and to all the waiting staff: kind, professional and able to make us feel immediately at ease. Overall, an excellent experience in a classic Milanese restaurant.

A truly pleasant dinner, in every respect!! The mixed fry was crispy and dry, perfectly accompanied by a balanced tartar sauce. The amberjack carpaccio was fresh and well prepared, and the pasta with clams simple but really well executed. The choice of recommended wine was also excellent, which enhanced each dish without ever overpowering it. For dessert I tasted, for the first time, ice cream creamed together with Milanese: a surprising combination that closed the dinner on an original and delicious note. The staff was always attentive and professional. A special thank you to Yvonne, an impeccable hostess, who was able to combine courtesy and attention with great naturalness. The atmosphere is also very beautiful: well-balanced lights, discreet background music, everything contributes to making guests feel at ease. I can't wait to return, both to try other dishes on the menu and to enjoy the outdoor area as soon as it opens!!

I returned to the Giannini restaurant in Milan after the recent renovation and I must say that everything was perfect. I recently went to Giannino for a corporate event. We were given a room all to ourselves. The welcome and service were good, but two big flaws: the dishes all had minimal portions but above all they were cold. Milanese risotto cannot be served cold. If the rice comes out hot from the pan, when it is spread onto a cold plate and it is even a minimal portion, it cannot maintain the temperature. It was a real shame because it would certainly have been good as soon as it was ready. Then there were drafts in the room and, despite repeated requests to the waiters, the drafts continued throughout dinner. All in all, a thrilling evening.
