Restaurant Drago In

We agree with the many negative reviews regarding the service. The arrogant and bored waiter is really at the bottom of the drawer, or even a little bit below it. That's a real shame, because the food and the great location right by the sea, including the view, are really fantastic and beautiful.

The food was good, I would argue about the fried fish being frozen (it’s clearly stated this is an option in the menu) and would suggest asking before ordering it. Very disappointing when I had it. Went a second time for pasta and it was amazing. The waiters don’t look very friendly, but are very busy and are quick to answer any question. An little smile would have made me give a 5 star for the service. Finally the view is incredible when you go for diner and you get to see the sunset!

The food was excellent and the fresh fish was paid at reasonable prices

The dining room is top overlooking the sea and is very nice especially in the evening. We ate the pizza but I must say that it was nothing special and then the strange thing is that almost all of them cost €10 and more, I personally ate a 4 cheeses but in my opinion the only cheese was Mozzarella while my wife a spicy salami without tomato €10, that too is nothing special. Maybe the food is better!

Food was excellent, we had the Gostosa and Bomba pizzas. For starters, tomato caprese and bresaola with rocket. Classic Italian style of food, simple and tasty, the way I love it. The ambience is of course bombastically beautiful right by the sea. Service wasn't very friendly, but I personally don't care, I was there to eat ;-)

I stayed on Elba for 12 days with my husband and son. We had dinner at Drago almost every evening, we always ordered fish, the food was always good, excellent value for money. Simple but beautiful location on the beach. Attentive owner, friendly staff, they always welcomed us with kindness and smiles. "Don't forget about us...". Greetings to Fabio etc... Mariella

Great service (Emmi's best man), great view. And food really is more than 'okay'. Portions could be a bit bigger :-) really always great at the 'Bar2' table

Siamo tornati dopo tre anni...constatiamo un aumento del listino tra il 40% ed il 50% ed una diminuzione delle quantità di almeno il 30% ma direi anche oltre...peccato perché il Drago ha sempre rappresentato un riferimento per qualità/quantità al giusto prezzo. Ora francamente queste caratteristiche sono andate perse e rimane un rapporto qualità/prezzo assolutamente svantaggioso....se prima potevamo accettare un servizio sciatto e poco efficiente perché la qualità delle portate, la quantità abbondante ed il prezzo competitivo compensava, oggi non accade più e l'impresentabilita" dei camerieri non è più accettabile....per cui purtroppo oggi Drago è pesantemente bocciato. Peccato... Metto foto, a titolo di esempio, del polpo con patate di 3 anni fa e di stasera. Prezzo aumentato del 40% almeno...
