We stayed here for four nights with my sister on February and everything was gorgeous. Carmen is very helpful, what you need she is always there. Very large and extremely clean rooms. Breakfast is very delicious and various. I had to work with my computer couple of days, and it is like an office. There are so many Stubes if you need to work. The bar is also so cozy. Everything we eat and drink at this bar was very good. It is very close to the ski area by car, like 10 min. Highly recommended!

Weekend in April to go for one last ski at Plan de Corones, I can say that skiing has taken a back seat compared to the beauty of this structure (Castle). A unique experience, a dive into history with the comforts of modernity. Ansitz Heufler is a historic residence that combines rooms and suites with rooms for reading and meditation, one in particular leaves you breathless, with wooden inlays and decorations: amazing. The added value is undoubtedly the discreet and elegant welcome of Carmen, always available and careful to offer quality products both in the high-level breakfast buffet with all local products (the amazing jams and cured meats) and in the bar where we dined with a platter of super-selected local products, with a vast choice of wines, beers and cocktails. I will carry the memory of this stay with me.

Great historic hotel. You should disregard the old reviews. The hotel was fully renovated 3yrs ago and has been under a new management. It is a very underrated hotel. For skiers - it is right next to two ski bus stops of the bus 403 that goes to Kronplatz, as it is one of the first stops you will get a seat 100% - there is no ski room, however, you will get a voucher for the ski storrage at the station in Olang which is a lot better than carrying skis and skiboots to the hotel. Rooms - spatious, well equipped, great bed - very clean Breakfast & food & bar - smaller sellection but very high quality of products served. They will prepare eggs for you if you wish. - there is no standard dinner option, however you can get smaller meals such as soups, cheese, hams etc - the bar is great, with a good selection of wines as well as local spirits. I loved their negroni. I will be back :-)

A wonderful structure with a unique charm, a historic home perfectly adapted to current needs, spacious rooms with every comfort and a magical view. Carmen and Luigi are very welcoming and helpful. The visit to the home was very interesting, demonstrating Carmen's great professionalism and dedication. In addition to the excellent quality of the breakfast, we also appreciated the quality of the dinner and the wine list and the courtesy of the staff. Dinner is served in the former smokehouse of the home, which has been recovered in full respect of its original essence, was based on tradition and the search for local products of superior quality. Truly beautiful hotel in a strategic position to visit the entire Pusteria valley and neighboring valleys. The atmosphere in the hotel is very relaxing and the bistro is of an exceptional standard. Ate very well.

My husband and I stayed here for a couple nights as part of our honeymoon travels. We could not recommend this hotel enough! First, Carmen, one of the owners and our host, is just lovely. She really made us feel taken care of. It felt as if we were staying at a relatives house in a way because she was so attentive to us and eager to please. She goes above and beyond and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. Second, the hotel itself is beautiful and rich with history. The different rooms are fun to explore and the room we stayed in was clean and had all the modern amenities you could want. Third, the area the hotel is in, while rural, has tons of options for those who enjoy hiking, natural lakes, or want to look for activities to do such as archery, zip lining, etc. The hotel itself offers some really interesting courses throughout the year such as book binding or cooking. The hotel itself has a lovely little bar if you want to get a cocktail before going out or before bed. Finally, one of my favorite parts of staying here was the food. All of the food we had was local, fresh, and delicious. The breakfast we had here was some of the best breakfast we ever had. If you like local meats or cheeses, this place is for you. The local apple juice we had was the best apple juice we ever had and I don’t even like apple juice! Overall, I could not recommend this hotel enough for anyone who enjoys history, or wants a wonderful vacation experience.

We stayed here for 3 nights over the new year. Fantastic hospitality by Luigi and Carmen. Upon arrival, they gave us a tour of the 500 year-old castle. It is clear how dedicated they have been towards preserving the history of the building. The utmost care has also been taken to showcase the best of South Tyrol with high quality produce for food and drinks. The NY eve dinner was also exquisite, with dishes being prepared by a local home cook. The hotel is also well-located, with proximity to downhill and Nordic skiing. All in all a wonderful and memorable experience.
