Republic in Gallarate offers a different take on the traditional aperitivo. For €11, you can get a cocktail plus a mixed platter with sushi. A very nice place for a different aperitivo. They offer aperisushi, and for €11 per person, you can have an excellent drink and a delicious platter of sushi, spring rolls, edamame, and pizza. The platter isn't very large, but it's perfect for a light aperitivo. The atmosphere is relaxed, with both indoor and outdoor seating.

09/06/2025: I am giving it 5 stars as in its category (a kebab place, it's outstanding). I am very surprised with this place. I read the comments and thought, it seems OK, let's give it a try. Wow. It is is quite nice. I ordered the pizza kebab and I am enjoying it even more than many pizza places from the area. They have a wood oven and this tastes very nice. For a quick bite, it's an excellent place. I am definitely coming back. As once in a while, this type of food, simply goes well.
