Excellent welcome, perfect service

Incredibly delicious! Gaetano greeted us (6 people) warmly with a handshake and, despite the fact that we don't speak Italian, made small talk with us. He was super personable and humorous! The food was fantastic, beautifully presented, and the dessert (we had cannoli and lemon sorbet) was an absolute highlight; if you don't order it, you're definitely missing out! The total price for the starter, main course, and dessert was €140. Absolutely reasonable for this experience. Thank you, Gaetano!

Very kind attention from the owners and delicious food, especially the manso fillet. Good wine. Very delicious tiramisu. As a drawback, they don't serve coffee with milk, but it's absolutely forgivable.

Repubblica20Due was a delicious surprise and worth your stop. All we have tasted was delicious, made with style and local products and served with (Italian) flair. We came back the next day Refreshing place compared to all pizzerias and trattorias we visited in Sicily.

Advised! We are on holiday, for a tour in Sicily. Passing through these areas, we stayed for a night at the nearby Paparanza campsite. They invite us to go to dinner in the village. We accidentally stop at this place. A gem. They no longer do a pizzeria but only a restaurant. There is a good choice of wines from all over Italy, but above all local wines that will never be found in the rest of Italy. The selected food is excellent. Pay attention to the raw material. As always, it is also abundant for our tastes, and therefore with the starter, main course and dessert we fill our bellies well. The impeccable service. Attention to the customer and a ritual chat, which make you feel at home. Recommended for those who want to eat dishes of a certain level, better if accompanied by a good bottle of wine. ADVISED!

Trovato per caso una sera, Repubblica 2022 è diventato da subito il nostro punto di riferimento per momenti di relax e puro incanto. Ogni visita è un’esperienza: l’atmosfera è calda, curata nei dettagli, e si percepisce quella sensazione rara di sentirsi davvero i benvenuti. Gaetano e Marco, riescono a unire professionalità e passione in un’accoglienza che fa la differenza. Sempre attenti, presenti ma mai invadenti, rendono ogni serata speciale. Un locale che sa farsi ricordare, dove gusto, eleganza e umanità convivono alla perfezione. Assolutamente consigliato

Excellent food, ambience and service.

Well, in the end, we were disappointed with my wife. We went on a Sunday for lunch to this restaurant located in a central position in Valguarnera. The other restaurants in the area, called before, one was full and the other was closed, therefore, given the time, we opted for this one. Upon our arrival, only one table occupied, a somewhat anonymous environment but the owner welcomed us very kindly and made us change the table with courtesy. We took two fish appetizers mixed between cooked and marinated which could have been more appetizing but unfortunately they weren't. Then two pasta dishes with fennel and sardines in red sauce, these two dishes also didn't excite us. The sauce in our opinion was rather heavy but still better than the two appetizers. To finish we chose a dessert, decomposed ricotta cannoli, which this time was really good. With a bottle of mineral we paid €38.50 each. A high price in our opinion for what we got. However, apart from the kindness shown towards us, in the end they didn't even offer us the classic bitters or coffee, we were rather dissatisfied also for the amount spent. *********************************** 3/31/25 -Revision of the review posted yesterday- After my review I was contacted by Mr. Gaetano D'Angelo, the owner of the Valguarnera restaurant Repubblica 20 due. I must say that I really appreciated his gesture, it shows *great attention to the customer* and in the end after a pleasant chat we agreed that I will return to his restaurant with family/friends, so we will have the opportunity, in the meantime, to put everything back into question and I am convinced that my review will be modified and, this time, it will be positive. It's not easy to deal with sensitive and professional people as the owner of this restaurant has demonstrated!

Splendida serata persone competenti e gentilissime. Il menù proposto era tipicamente siciliano Tutte le cose che abbiamo mangiato erano note ma ognuna di esse era la migliore mai assaggiata nel tempo Cantina molto fornita abbiamo optato per un rosso dell’Etna veramente superbo Degno di menzione particolare il cannolo scomposto….. la ricotta sublime è la cialda spettacolare . Per finire ci hanno offerto un amaro al limone molto gradevole talmente buono che ci siamo finiti la bottiglia Conto più che onesto ma la vera forza è data dalla presenza dei titolari che con grande competenza ci hanno parlato dei prodotti del loro territorio e ci hanno fatto sentire a casa Consigliatissimo Torneremo di sicuro
