Re|Mi In Sassari

Good pizzas and friendly staff. Normal place, not very spacious, with the particularity of being able to see the kitchen at work from the tables. I read superlative reviews "the best pizzas in Sassari". I have eaten delicious and equally characteristic pizzas in other places too. The prices, in my opinion, are exaggerated for a pizza that you can season and present however you want but in the end we are still talking about a pizza made on planet Earth. Ultimately, a good place like others but which in my humble opinion raises prices too much, perhaps because if I'm not mistaken it has received some recognition. After meeting him and especially after paying the bill I don't feel the need to desperately look for a free place on a Saturday evening or even during the week.

Exceptional pizzas of unique goodness, I'm from Cagliari but I go there every time I can, including last night.

I have been lucky enough to frequent Re|Mi on several occasions, and each time it has been a discovery. The environment is welcoming and familiar, perfect for relaxing and enjoying company. The attentive and knowledgeable staff is always ready to recommend the best combinations between dishes and the vast selection of Sardinian beers and wines. The real protagonist is certainly Sandro, a master of leavening who has won awards and recognition both in Italy and abroad. His passion for dough translates into unique pizzas, prepared with the highest quality Sardinian flours and ingredients. I particularly appreciated the double leavened pizza with a combination of anchovies and tomato jam, a truly unexpected combination. But Re|Mi is not just pizza! Also the other dishes, such as the "appetizers" where the meatballs are king and the pan crocks which in my opinion are the real discovery of chef Sandro, among which I recommend the parmigiana one. Instead of burgers, my favorite is the Re|Mi burger. I underline that everything is prepared with care and passion, always using zero kilometer raw materials. The menu changes constantly because only seasonal foods are used! You are never alone during dinner but you will always be advised on food and drink pairings. Furthermore, during the Christmas and Easter period I was lucky enough to taste the artisanal panettone and colomba created by Sandro, which were truly special. Ever since I tasted Remì's pizza, I can no longer go to another pizzeria, it is truly special. I brought friends and family, and everyone was thrilled. The quality of the ingredients, Sandro's skill and the welcoming atmosphere make this place a one-of-a-kind experience. You won't eat a simple pizza but you will go on a gastronomic journey that will leave you speechless!

Our accommodation was not far away so we decided to try this pizzeria listed in the Sardinia backpacker's guide. We hadn't booked and it was full. We still took away, taking 2 Spritzes to wait... the pizza was ready in 2 minutes and we were able to eat on the terrace. We recommend++ excellent pizzas! (1 pizza + 2 Spritzs = 24€)
