28/02/2026: It's an ill wind that blows nobody any good, and our evening proved it! After being incredibly turned down by another pizzeria in the area, despite having a confirmed reservation, we stumbled upon Alter Ego in Caltavuturo... and thank goodness!
As soon as we stepped inside, we were enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, but what really makes the difference here is the human factor: we found a unique kindness and helpfulness that are rare nowadays.
Why choose it:
• Impeccable service: Attentive, fast, and smiling staff, despite the place being lively and busy.
• Top-notch cuisine: We didn't eat well, it was more than that! Each course was carefully prepared and rich in flavor. You could taste the passion behind every dish.
• Atmosphere: The ideal place to relax and truly feel like a "guest" in the truest sense of the word.
If you're looking for a place where the quality of the food goes hand in hand with politeness and hospitality, you're in luck. We've already forgotten the injustice we suffered elsewhere thanks to this wonderful discovery.

17/01/2026: A friend of mine and I decided to go to this place, both to say hello to the great chef Gesualdo Faulisi and to taste his delicious pizzas ☺️! Excellent pizza, as always 😍! At the end of the evening, before leaving, I decided to buy two of his countless products, made by him, using his own raw materials! I bought the mustard, made with wild Madonita mustard, and a package of bronze-drawn pasta, slowly dried, from single-variety Perciasacchi wheat, of which I will attach a photo! For anyone passing through this town, I highly recommend you go and taste his cuisine 🤩.
