Excellent ! Very friendly and welcoming staff. The prices are more than affordable for extraordinary quality, all in a neighborhood that is just as affordable. For my part, I let myself be tempted by a Pistachio - Stracciatella duo, simply wonderful. I recommend with my eyes closed!

Genuine gelato. Small, unassuming shop but gelato is made onsite and it’s yummy.

Italy is a place famous for and rightly proud of its ice cream. This means however that they unabashedly charge an arm and a leg in most places. Gelateria Regusto however not only has the best prices we found in Italy so far but also the yummiest ice cream I have ever had in my entire life! Smooth, creamy, intense flavour and not too sweet, simply perfection. Oh, and it’s all handmade by the lovely owner. I don’t have children, but I’d have one just to sell it for more of the Lotus Biscoff ice cream.

The gelato was average compared to other options in Trastevere. It wasn’t bad, but nothing special either, especially given the competition in the area. One issue was that it was closed when we arrived, despite being within their posted business hours. We had to wait about 15 minutes for someone in the inside to come and open, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, it’s an okay spot, but with so many great gelato places nearby, I’d probably choose another one next time.
