Christmas Lunch 2025. My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous Christmas lunch, prepared with every possible care. We felt pampered and at home. The appetizer was generous, with delicious cheeses and mozzarella. The homemade tortellini and tordelli Lucchesi were truly excellent. Generous main courses included a spectacular grilled beef fillet. We couldn't finish the main course, which consisted of suckling pig with artichokes, which the owner kindly packaged for us to take home. The service was attentive and thoughtful, and there was always wine in our glasses. To finish, sparkling wine and Beppino Occelli's panettone with a delicate mascarpone cream. We will definitely be back soon, as the owner is also a master of pizza, which she makes herself using excellent, high-quality ingredients and various select flours. Richard and Giusy from Livorno.

Simply the best Neapolitan pizza in the Lucca area, and even Pisa, by far. It may not have a fancy atmosphere or service (though everything is very nice), but the pizza is devastating: top-notch dough, which disappears when you bite into it, and easy to digest, top-quality ingredients, and fair prices. Highly recommended.

I come across this place by the web. I booked a table for 4 and the size was good enough to be confortable. the restaurant has a big car lot to park the car. the restaurant is wide clean and up to date. the oven for pizza is well visible from the tables. I was impressed by the activity of the waiters. when they do not deliver the food they stand looking for the customers like radars ready to move immediately if needed. the staff is super kind and friendly. the starter was very good and served 3 to 4 min after the order. the pizzas were excellent. both the dough and the topping ingredients were superb. the dessert "pastiera" was in.my opinion too sweet and not at the same level of the other food eaten. The only minor weakness is that the water bottles are sold in a 500 ml size only that makes your dinner more expensive if you drink more. the final cost is a bit high but the quality is good thus the extra money spent are not a regret. the owner is a kind dude and was nice to spend some worlds with him and to know the story of his business. this place is recommended.

I'm originally from Campania and have had the opportunity to taste the excellent AVPN/APN Neapolitan pizzas. I can honestly say that this pizzeria, among the few, is truly worth a visit, not only for its excellent dough and quality ingredients, but above all for the care and love with which they are prepared. The service is also worthy of mention, with attentive and very friendly staff. We'll definitely be back...chapeau!

good food, atmosphere.... a little less so.

I'm back to review this pizzeria after years. The pizza is always excellent, nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, I was truly dissatisfied with the service. During Lucca Comics & Games, we ordered takeout for 7-7:30 PM, shortly after opening. In the Glovo notes, we had requested that the pizzas be sliced, since we'd be eating on the street. We also contacted them by phone to make sure, but they told us the pizzeria was busy, so they didn't know if it was possible. In the end, the pizzas arrived unsliced. Perhaps we're used to having a "good" pizza in Rome, where we've never been made to pay for a takeout slice, even in very busy places. It means the customer isn't important and can be easily lost. In fact, I've decided that, even though the pizza is very good, I prefer a place that combines good food with friendly service.

A simple place, pizza dough is among the best in Lucca, prices are a bit high, staff are unfriendly, and the wait is a bit longer than necessary. All in all, not bad.

Intrigued by an Instagram post promoting an Autumn Pizza, we went there last night...what can I say? Everything was excellent, from the pizza to the Dulcis in fundo (the legendary Fiocco di Neve and the Babà)...not to mention the Bianco Greco di Tufo (a guarantee)....and then the thing that amazed us was finding a "Puzzaiola" Donna...never seen before, not even in Naples.
