I find that Red Velvet is one of the few places in Padua where you can find a special variety of sweets and super good types of coffee!! Angela and Martina have always been very kind since the first day I set foot there. And full of vegan friendly options for those who are vegan or intolerant. Angela prepares each dessert with attention, dedication and attention to detail. He cares that there is something different every time and it shows! Honestly, I always see the little board full of good, good delicacies! The place is cuddly. The ice cream is good! I find that you can find different things from the "usual bar" in Padua, which makes it less boring and more special. Thanks Angela! Thank you red velvet for making my breakfasts good and special. During my recent visit to Padua, I had the pleasure of discovering Red Velvet, a delicious bakery located in via Giambattista Belzoni 137/139. This place, inspired by typical Anglo-Saxon bakeries, offers a wide range of artisanal desserts that conquer both the sight and the palate. The atmosphere is welcoming and with attention to the smallest details, with a design that mixes modern and traditional elements. Although the space is small, the venue manages to convey a feeling of intimacy and warmth, making it the ideal place for a sweet break or a meeting with friends. The variety of desserts offered is impressive: from classic cupcakes, available in different flavors and decorations, to brownies, cookies and the famous Red Velvet cake, soft and tasty. I had the opportunity to taste a hazelnut cupcake and a chocolate brownie: both proved to be fresh, soft and with a balanced flavour, highlighting the high quality of the ingredients used. The staff is young, friendly and always smiling, ready to recommend the daily specials and satisfy customer requests. This helps create a pleasant and relaxing experience, making you feel at home. The only small flaw could be the slightly high prices, but the quality of the products and the attention to detail fully justify the expense. Furthermore, the central location of the venue makes it easily accessible for both residents and tourists visiting the city. In conclusion, Red Velvet is a must-see for dessert lovers in Padua. The combination of a welcoming environment, friendly staff and a vast selection of delicacies makes this place a true jewel in the city's gastronomic scene. I can't wait to go back to try more delights!

The change in management brought about an important change from the point of view of the products, especially their flagship product: cupcakes. The dimensions have significantly reduced and the price has risen: 3.50 euros for a mini mini cupcake is exaggerated. I would have suggested leaving quality and dimensions unchanged, and possibly raising the price. If you were in love with their good and big cupcakes, I advise you not to go back because they no longer exist. For the rest, environment and service ok.

I took a cupcake to take away which was slapped in a paper bag and the cream, obviously, was all stuck. A disaster. I recommend always keeping a good supply of cardboard boxes to avoid these situations.

A pleasant discovery in the Portello area of ​​Padua! The place is small and welcoming (we were there on a Saturday morning and unfortunately there was a bit of a queue, but we managed to get seated in a very short time), the service is good (a shame about the table which wasn't cleaned before we sat down) and the food is very good and varied (there are vegan options) and the prices are in line with those of the area. Recommended if you want sweetness🍰🧁
