We visited Re Mida on the 25th of December Christmas Day and this was one of the few places opens that day. Visiting Lecce for the first time I wanted to try the Pugliese Puccia and found it on the menu here. The restaurant has an amazing vibe and the place small and cute. The service was great as they were very friendly with us. The food was delicious and the allowed us to relish local cuisine. It is definitely recommended to try. The location of the restaurant is quite nice as well right in the city centre.

We found it by chance and were tempted by the burrata. Not knowing what to expect, we sat outside and ordered burrata and two glasses of wine. It was delicious, as was the kindness and friendliness of the waitress who served us. Highly recommended!

Don’t believe the negative reviews. The food is simple and delicious. We had some not so great meals in Lecce, but this stood out as one of the best. The pasta is fresh and homemade, and the puccia is fantastic. Fresh ingredients, well done.

We ate here last year and returned this year for obvious reasons! The food is fresh, authentic, and delicious. The place is quaint inside, with the option to eat outside when it's warmer! We recommend the horse meat (for non-vegans), and today we had orecchiette with turnip tops (dish of the day), which was incredible! The wine selection is also worth it! Let the lady recommend you!

This is our second time back at this delightful place in the historic center of Lecce. We ordered the Re Mida platter, excellent cured meats and cheeses, and a varied selection of wines, including my favorite, Primitivo Cantele. The lady is very friendly, making you feel at home. The waiters are very kind and professional.
I'm addressing the lady, please continue to serve moka coffee because she's very nice and original. 😃😃😃
