Re Gallo In Potenza

“I just had lunch at this restaurant and was absolutely blown away! The seafood was delicious, with dishes prepared with attention to detail and of excellent quality. But what really impressed me was how impeccably clean the entire place was, from the bathroom to the dining room, where even the fake flowers were dust-free! The service was fantastic, thanks to Francesco, the waiter, and the chef and owner, who were both very kind. The quality/price ratio was excellent. The only downside is that it's in Potenza and I live in Martina Franca, so it's a bit far from my home. But if I were closer, it would have become my regular place! 😊 But I'll be back soon because it's definitely worth the trip.”

Pasta with seafood: The kind waiter brings me the empty plate for the scraps, the lemon napkin and also offers to put a bib on me so I don't get dirty. I really expect great things. After 20 minutes my plate of at least 200g of pasta arrives with some leftover seafood salad. 3 rickety squid rings, 3 hard shrimp larvae and a handful of mussels as big as a caper. Usually pasta with leftovers tastes of vinegar but this one doesn't, so it doesn't deserve a low rating, but I assure the chef that the salt has remained in the kitchen and any other flavor has never even left the fish counter. I ask for spicy and the kind waiter leaves me a bottle bottom with pepper-scented oil. To each his own job. At least on Sundays they are open and I'm not starving in Potenza but I digested at 7 this morning, maybe.

Prima volta in questo locale. Personale accogliente e attento. Abbiamo preso il menù del giorno a base di pesce composto da 4 antipasti a scelta, 1 primo, 1 secondo e 1 dessert. Le porzioni sono abbondanti e di buona qualità

Un ambiente soft, un atmosfera rilassante e piacevole, il personale gentile e professionale, il menù offre ampia scelta che spazia tra specialità di "mare e di terra", noi abbiamo assaporato come antipasto una polpetta della nonna al sugo veramente squisito seguito poi da una tagliata saporita succosa e morbida. Ci tornerò di sicuro e lo consiglio a tutti. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

We went to this restaurant last night and we had already been told about the excellent quality of the fish, freshness and excellent service. Quality/price nothing to say, welcoming environment. Best restaurant that offers fish (and not only) in Potenza.
