Great service and truly enjoyed the pasta funghi plus the spinach. Also highly recommend the Saltimbocca Romana. Getting on for one of the best we have ever had. As well special mention for Nello. Wonderful service. Nice outdoor patio near the Spanish Steps. Prices very reasonable.

I don't understand the bad reviews. We were treated very well and were greeted with a complimentary glass of procecco. Yes, it's in a very touristy area just like all the other restaurants around. Their prices are fair, and there was no deception like other reviews stated. Their food was amazing, and I would definitely go back there again. Give them a try for yourself. I'm pretty sure your experience will be as great as ours was.

I had a great experience, the food was sooooo soooo good and the staff were helpful friendly and very welcoming. I honestly don’t understand the negative reviews, definitely worth trying especially the fettuccini.

(2025/06) I went there for lunch on a weekday. It was delicious. The staff were nice. I wonder why the reviews are so bad. There are 1 toilet for men and 1 toilet for women. Cars are not allowed.

Food was okay at most, be careful, they charge "coperto" and "servizio" on the same bill, that's basically the same thing as the tip but twice (2x)

We had cooking lessons here. Eliza was enthusiastic and helped us make the fettuccine and tiramisu. Then enjoy a tasty meal. Highly recommended!

Al Cardello

15/05/2025: After completing a 2.5 hour walking tour. Myself from Scotland and 3 others from Germany who only met on the tour wanted to grab lunch, this was almost the first place we went past and looked much like any other place around, so we headed in without looking at reviews etc. I feel bad that some reviews are low, The service was fine the waitress a little bit scatty, but in a charming way very friendly. It wasn't until we ordered one of the group checked out reviews, so we were not expecting great things. But we all were pleasantly surprised turned out to be a decent enough meal and reasonably priced, with some free limoncello at the end. A solid 3.5 out of 5 definitely! Would try again.
29/04/2025: The food is good, without particular pretensions. Giuseppe, the owner, a kind-hearted, true person who demonstrates that in life you can also feed on other things
