this restaurant stood out for its amazing ambience, with unique artwork decorations covering the walls. the setting felt interesting and one-of-a-kind, making it a memorable dining spot. the staff were kind and accommodating, adding to the overall experience. as for the food, it was decent but not particularly special. portions were on the smaller side for the price, but the ambience made up for it. we ordered the margherita pizza, which was tasty while hot but not the best we’ve had. the size was reasonable for one person. the caprese salad was alright, and the cacio e pepe came with a complimentary bowl of parmesan cheese, which my family thoroughly enjoyed. overall, it’s not a standout in terms of food, but the atmosphere and kind service make it worth a visit, especially for tourists looking for a good enough dining experience.

We only tried coffee and sweets... We ordered a very regular crème brûlée and a pinacoda with a less than normal chocolate layer... and an Americano and a cappuccino that arrived quickly and hot... What distinguishes the place is the location and the reception.

Its not that much bad like these negative comments, clearly its on touristic place and could not be so amazing, beautiful area with average food, but the prices are very high for the quality.

I found myself in Piazza di Spagna and by chance with my girlfriend we ended up on Via della Croce, coming across this traditional and very Roman place. For those of us who are Italian, we know Roman trattorias aren't beautiful but they are very good. We met Nelu the best waiter, he recommended traditional and typical dishes and excellent meat, I highly recommend listening to him and what's more he takes care of you in an exceptional way. You can recognize the manager straight away, he's a bit chubby but with a nice smile he's very kind We will definitely be back. I recommend the fillet with gold leaves.

The taste was quite strong. The store staff was also not very responsive.

Where to start!? Just left here about one hour ago visiting from Liverpool for my girlfriend’s birthday. It’s my third time in Rome and always feel the waiters/waitresses go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. We visited this restaurant upon arrival into Rome Monday evening and found the service from the guy outside navy suit slick back curly hair (kinda looks like Bradley Cooper) extremely welcoming, relaxing and casual towards his approach with us could not fault him. We ordered two beers each a pizza one penne arrabbiata came to around €70 which was fair given the location. This evening we visit for my girlfriend’s bday today and approach the same guy who dealt with us two nights ago to have a special meal for her night in which we did…ish!! Ordered the same as the other night with the expecting of a steak instead of the pizza. Can’t fault the food or quality of service however upon receiving the bill I noticed it had gone from €70 to €216!!! Exactly you’re probably thinking the same as me… wtf!! But no steak is worth €146 regardless of how good it is. I checked the menu and the price of the item id ordered was €26. At no point did it say that we had to order a minimum of 400g in which I was being told quoted for with this price. We challenged the bill and explained our confusion to this and the manager who came out was quite intimidating and his was responses were almost premeditated as if they knew they’d tried to have us off. I’d explained we wasn’t prepared to pay this as at no point did they advise the price of the item was x4 or it was a minimum of it 400g it was just taken asif we was ordering any other dish from the menu. To conclude the manager threatened us with the police in which we agreed to wait until they arrived and also offered to contact them ourselves directly to speed up the process in which I found irrated him an called his bluff. Eventually he went down further and further in prices until we agreed to pay €150 which unfortunately ate the good mans tip who wed dealt with twice and settled a bill in what we feel was inflated. Highly recommend this restaurant if your sticking to pastas etc but be aware of the manager and any meats your ordering as could easily find yourself in this situation.

We really want to thank Chef marco for the perfect class we had . We learned how to make both pasta & tirmisu from scratch .It was fantastic. We loved it

I don’t understand the bad reviews pizza was one of the best I’ve had in Rome on my trip so far service was amazing our waiter knew what he was talking about and had good banter atmosphere was good as it’s in a nice location in town too considering other places I’ve been too here that have been bad and had better reviews I don’t understand it

Bad pizza and unjustified high prices. Sure, according to the area. The furniture in the terrace is old and ugly. 17 euros for a chicken breast and is only put on the grill. Very good only for babies. The overall impression is that they blend in the area but only with the prices and not the food.
