Fun, food & drinks. Cosy, lively place with a filling, all-Italian chalkboard menu. I struggled with the handwriting til the chipper & friendly staff helped me out. Mix of younger & older local clients & tourists. Lunched there twice — and would go again.

The food is excellent, the wine selection is extensive, and the menu changes constantly, making it a pleasure to return.
The only drawback: it's a bit dark outside in the evening.
But it's still a great choice for a casual lunch or dinner.

Razmataz is located right in the city center, 20 meters from Via Etnea.
The location is quite unique and welcoming.
The service is definitely a plus because the staff are super efficient, kind, and friendly.
The food is good, although in my personal opinion, all the dishes are a bit too heavy.
The drinks are good.
The desserts are worth a look.

I've eaten at Razmataz on numerous occasions and have always been satisfied. The menu is traditional with a few modern twists, and varies seasonally, always showcasing attention to quality ingredients and excellent value. The fish dishes are delicious.
A welcoming and informal place.

And then there are places in the world where you stumble upon them by chance, but you feel like you're "home." It's happened everywhere, and every time it's poetry.
The posters on the wall smile at you, the papers in the bathroom (which are surely there before the walls) tell you a story, and a smiling Paolo Conte watches you while you sip a passito (passito) and read the story of Razmataz.
Once upon a time, these emotions were the essence of travel, today they're a rarity, and fortunately, they can happen in Catania on a rainy February evening.
Well done for creating this atmosphere, a place worth visiting.
