Ravioli Dong In Empoli

Not everyone finds themselves in Italy desiring Chinese food, but if that does happen to you and you are in the vicinity of Empoli, which is about a half hour from Florence, there are a number of Chinese restaurants to choose from, when for decades there was only one. This new spot specializes in dumplings called ravioli on Italian menus and these are the best dumplings I've ever had in Italy. I would particularly recommend the bao. Dumplings and bao will set you back about 5 euros, not bad. Everything else we had was excellent, though it was the dumplings that stood out. My daughter ordered the classic ramen and said that was exceptional. The place is cute too with some amusing dumpling wall art.

Quiet place, excellent cultural food, we meet often

Very nice and welcoming place, there is good quality food with a fairly varied choice. The ramen are really good, I recommend them. The service is not great, there is little attention to the customer. Once they brought us ramen and because there was no space on the table they left it in our hands. The environment is really nice and well organised, very clean.

Specializing in ravioli, it nevertheless makes an excellent ramen, which in my opinion is the best I've ever eaten in the area so far. Crowded place, good service for such a turnout (there is still a bit of a wait), wide choice of ravioli. Too bad that bao can only be taken on certain days
