This hole-in-the-wall was a welcome respite after a week of Italian fare. I ordered the zha jiang mian (炸酱面) and jian bing guo zi （煎饼果子). The zha jiang mian was packed with flavor and had a good amount of toppings (meat, fresh / pickled veggies). However, the sauce was a bit too salty for me, so I had to dilute it with some water. The jian bing guo zi was delicious albeit not traditional (i.e. includes a sausage, missing crispy cracker). The portion was generous and enough for two. Overall, this place is a great choice for a convenient, affordable, and satisfying meal.

I could see women making dumplings by hand, and even using a steamer to heat them up, rather than microwave or freeze them. I ordered two meat buns and a meat-filled pancake. The meat in the pancake was ham, a bit light, but the quality was excellent for Venice. The buns had a softer dough and a lighter meat filling. There are so many restaurants on the island that try to rip off tourists, and it's easy to miss out. Instead of ordering frozen pizza, I could eat my fill here for 10 euros per person, which was a great deal.

We loooove this place. All dishes are freshly made, dumplings are handmade, too. Our favorite is the Baozi! The owners are so kind and open. We definitely recommend to give this one a try

Vinimos aquí para tomar un bocado rápido mientras estábamos de vacaciones en Venecia. Sinceramente, la comida era deliciosa y me gustaría que tuviéramos lugares como este en el Reino Unido. Preparan los bollos frescos y los cuecen al vapor allí mismo, por lo que hay que esperar unos 10 minutos, pero merece la pena. Los dumplings de cerdo estaban deliciosos y los recomiendo muchísimo. Los bollos bao con pasta de frijoles rojos también son una opción deliciosa de postre o dulce. ¡Estaban muy esponjosos y sabían muy rico! La relación calidad-precio también es bastante buena y el personal fue muy amable con nosotros, así que diría que el servicio fue excepcional. Es una pena que no hubiera más gente porque es un lugar realmente bueno para tomar un bocado rápido. Lo recomiendo muchísimo, especialmente si te apetece un descanso de la inmensa variedad de comida italiana que hay en Venecia.
