Intimate and rustic atmosphere. I recommend booking in advance because it's not huge. Set menus start at €25, meat-based (I don't know if there are vegetarian options). Generous portions. Excellent value.

Truly a fantastic place. At first, I wasn't impressed, especially with the welcome, but then I was completely blown away by both the staff and the food. We had lunch on the outdoor terrace because we hadn't booked. They served excellent dishes (I ordered polenta with venison stew) and I must say they were truly delicious. There was no menu; the waitress listed the dishes verbally. What surprised me most was the price. A potentate with venison stew, a slice of entrecôte, a plate of gnocchi with tomato sauce, a plate of baked potatoes, still water, and a Coke Zero all came to a modest €40. If you're in the Lanzo di Intelvi area, this is a place I highly recommend visiting for a meal (perhaps booking in advance).

Everything was perfect. Excellent food and very friendly staff. Excellent value for money. We've been meaning to book for months without success. Now we understand why. Highly recommended! Well done, keep it up!

Dinner for two on a Monday evening, the place was almost full. Reservations are recommended weeks in advance, especially for lunch. The atmosphere is small, but very warm and welcoming. Service is prompt and informal. Various menus are available, ranging from €25 to €49; the full menu is for true gourmets. The food overall is good to very good, with more than generous portions, with special mention for the polenta and roast beef.

Hotel Ristorante La Sorgente

05/02/2026: A small, family-run 2-star hotel. Traveling for work, it's a regular stop whenever I pass through. The highlight is the food; the food is truly divine, and the pizza is in the top five. The view is breathtaking; in the evening, wild deer come right up to the hotel; it's amazing. The price is really good. The only flaw is that the rooms are a bit summery, but I can see that the owner is gradually fixing everything; every time I visit, I see new things, like the flooring, the locks, the bathrooms. It gets full marks.

12/10/2025: This is a great restaurant with an incredible location right next to the lake. The food is excellent and the lemon ravioli has deservedly been on the menu for 25 years. We had eaten here 15 years ago and were charmed by the friendly staff and great location; this visit was equally wonderful.
07/10/2025: We had an excellent experience at this restaurant. We went the day before to put a reservation in (you cannot walk in - you must have a reservation). Being right on the water is a great way to spend dinner. It was peaceful and a beautiful setting. The food was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed every bite. Definitely recommend getting to the restaurant if you are in Sala Comacina.
