Rametz In Merano

We had lunch at Restaurant Rametz at the end of the season. The restaurant was practically empty and therefore very quiet. Besides the concise menu, the very friendly staff recommended several specialties. The menu includes both meat and fish dishes. The prices are on the higher end, but the food is consistently beautifully presented and tastes excellent. The wine list is highly recommended; it truly offers something for every palate. Rametz isn't a tourist hotspot, which is exactly why it suited us perfectly. We will definitely visit Restaurant Rametz again.

What a wonderful coincidence! We ended up at Restaurant Schloss Rametz rather spontaneously because we arrived in Merano a little early on our way to our hotel – and this short stop turned out to be a real highlight of our day. Even upon arrival, you can feel the special atmosphere of this place – charming, tranquil, and designed with great attention to detail. The service was simply exceptional! A huge thank you to Dominik, who looked after us with such warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism – we immediately felt welcome and well cared for. The food was divine – fresh, refined, beautifully presented, and of the highest quality. You can tell that passion and skill come together here. Although we only stayed briefly, Schloss Rametz deeply impressed us. We will definitely be back and wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

Technique, balance, and boldness combine to create dishes that surprise with their combinations of ingredients. All this in a welcoming, quiet setting with excellent service. Highly recommended.

Very good food with great dishes that you won't find everywhere. The rosé sparkling wine from the on-site vineyard was very impressive. Priced at the higher end.

We ate at the Schloss Ramen restaurant and were absolutely thrilled! The cuisine is truly top-notch – every dish was a hit. The scallops are an absolute must; you should definitely try them here. The owner is super friendly and a true host with a heart. You can immediately tell that he runs his restaurant with passion and cares about his guests. For us, it was an all-around successful evening – great food, a relaxed atmosphere, and really nice people. We'll definitely be back!
