Raffaello's Bar In Roma

Our family had the pleasure of meeting Omar and his incredible staff at Raffaello’s Bar in June 2026. On our first visit, they were closing and stayed open longer than usual, allowing us to savor their delectable gelato. The next day, we visited for breakfast, and the food and service were simply exceptional. Omar took the time to engage with us, sharing insights about the local area. He treated our children like family, going above and beyond to ensure we had our favorite coffee, chocolate croissants, and specialty sandwiches. Omar informed us that hot chocolate in Italy is not the same, but he made sure to find the ingredients to make it just right for my girls. Every dish we ordered was a delightful experience. Raffaello’s Bar is an excellent place for breakfast, brunch, or a quick snack. I highly recommend it. Until we meet again, Omar, thank you and your staff for making us feel so welcome and at home.

The best breakfast we've ever had in the Vatican, the service was incredible too, the place was super nice and with lots of delicious things, it's totally worth it.

Fantastic! I got a really delicious sandwich here with some friends this morning before heading to Vatican City. The service is really top-notch; we were offered a spot right away and the food was there in no time too.

Order 1 ham and tomato sandwich and 2 small cafe latte as takeout. Total of €20 including €5 for each latte. At that price, I would expect a larger size and more expresso in latte. Sandwich is fresh and good.

Great random stop that paid off. Great drinks. Patient friendly staff. Food looked amazing. A food tour stopped by so it must be good. We will return our next trip back here to Rome to try the food. Salted Carmel and drinks rocked!

A quiet cafe very close to St. Peter's Basilica, very friendly staff, excellent coffee and food, and they have a very good beer. Highly recommended.
